We are supposed to watch it in French class, however the teacher is waivering because of it's sexual content 🙄 like we haven't seen worse anyways 😛

Also we didn't get the english version, it was just Amélie here, not the Fabulous Destiny of Amélie Poulain 😬 Was it sub titled?

I like this movie, I have it on DVD 😖
I even have the soundtrack, the music is what I like the most 😐

I finally got around to seeing "Amelie", and I don't know that I have ever been so smitten by a Foreign film in my life. It was just pure magic, and a ton of fun.

The cinematography was just unreal. I'm literally giddy after watching it.

I agree, one of my favorites. Audrey Tautou is perfect for the part of Amelie.

Amelie is one of my all time favourites, and one of my favourite French films, I am a big fan of Jean-Pierre Jeunet films.

I can't find City of Lost Children anywhere

It took me a while to find an R1 copy. "A Very Long Engagement" is set to street in the U.S. on 5/24. My god, that's an insanely big DVD release date.

amélie is an excellent film.

i loved the soundtrack, as well. yann tiersen did a great job. i searched for the piano score, but it wasn't available in north america.. i had to get a friend to find it for me when they were in france. 😄

hmmm.. yea the music was great in that film...

i particularly liked how the accordion was integrated into some of the tracks. ^^
