LP band members are never going to be listed in the top 100 of theire respective instruments. LP songs will hopefully never be listed in the top 100.

Chester is not a good vocalist, he has a weak voice and cant scream.
Hahn is not a particularly good DJ/Sampler
Mike Shinoda cant "emcee" (as quoted from the band list in the inslip) and isnt particularly good backing vocalist, his only good trait is he can play a small selection of instruments to a rudimentary level.
The Drummer is not bad, not good tho
The guitarist is pretty basic aswell

the lyrics are generic, synthesised to suit their audience and pretty standard quality.

Ok people... I'd like to clear a few things up here.

1. I did not start this thread. The only reason I'm posting here in the first place is because people were originally flaming me (and others) pretty bad... I don't like being flamed. People asked why I hate LP, so I told them. Apparently they didn't like that. Hence the flame war, which is not at all what I intended to do by posting in here.

2. If you have a personal problem with me or anybody else, be polite to the other members who really don't need to read fifteen pages of poorly punctuated, badly thought out insults, and PM me.

3. Yes, I do hate LP. Does that mean I hate all LP fans? Hell no. One of my best friends (in real life 😉) loves LP. What I hate is when people come in here and flame me and everybody else in an immature way that really just makes them seem stupider than they really are. And when they try to convince everybody else how great LP are. I wouldn't mind if somebody simply made a thread about Linkin Park and were talking about the band. But when somebody makes a thread about Linkin Park and how much Darth Revan sucks for not liking them... That pisses me off.

4. I appreciate people taking the time and effort to type out a reasonable post explaining why they are/are not fans of this band. You guys know who you are, I'm too lazy to go back and look for all of you. 😛

5. This thread has really gone too far. People on both sides are resorting to stupid insults, TYPING IN ALL CAPS, people are even joining KMC just to get a piece of this argument... It's ridiculous. I hope nobody will be offended if I say that you guys are being retarded (some of you). I'll admit that I enjoyed it for a while, and that I enjoy some other things on KMC that I'm sure make me seem like an egotistical asswipe. Yes, it's fun for a while, but this has gone too far. I really hate to seem like the bad guy who started a huge flame war...

6. In closing, I apologize to anybody who felt TRULY offended by my (or other's) remarks. Thanks to anybody who stuck up for me in the first few pages. And I'll say again, if people have personal issues with me or other people... Use PMs. Now I'm going to try to be the responsible one for once in my life and use the report button.

why does it matter that a lead singer of a metal band owns a madonna cd. im in a metal band and i own a new found glory cd. does it matter what music they listen to? seriously. people who judge other bands by the music they listen to is by far one of the dumbest things i have ever heard. if you judge a band by the music they listen to, you reallly need a life.
