i think its funny that insyncin park fans get mad for them being called pop but then the singer has every madona cd in the world last time i checked madonna was a pop star it did not say he owned all the cds in the world from a metal band or a rock band

darth how you said that bands like zeppelin and faith no more where influential bands. i said metallica was the most influential band because they revolutionised metal and rock. INFLUENTIAL AND CLASSIC OR POPULAR BANDS ARE NOT THE SAME THING DUMBASS! if you watch clip-shows on vh1 and mtv2 you would know that the 3 most influential bands in all of music history is as follows,
1) nirvana
2) metallica
3) the beatles
just because you like the other bands that were big along time ago doesnt automatically make them the most influential band. besides metallica came before most of the bands you mentioned, other than led zeppilen and the beatles. metallica has been around since '77, they didnt release anything major untill kill 'em all came out in '81. take some music history lessons, learn, and then come to me with an argument about rock music. untill then, piss off.

I'm in a rock band but sometimes its cool to turn away from the loud drumming and heavy guitar riffs and listen to some pop music.
