Well yeah now he's ok, but this guy was sexually abused, beaten, bullied and tormented constantly as a child, almost died from a devastating asthma attack and had a crippling drug addiction. I won't even go into the things that bio missed out...you don't forget that kind of shit, no matter how rich or famous you get 😬
thats funny kind of sounds like my life when i was younger i was in the hospital all the time for my asthma came really close to death more then once i was alos sexualy abused beatin and tormented kids at school called me lowlife cuese i lived in a house with no lights and no windows had a very bad meth addiction that started when i was 11 at twelve my mom let my drop out of school so i could seel crank for her
im cleaned up now at least for the most part and you are right it does stay with you

i'm sorry but basing an opinion on chester because of THAT bio if ****ing stupid, thats a shit one. he too had a drug addiction, and spent time living on the streets. you cant say "poor jon" on all this, you dont just wake up addicted to drugs, you GET addicted to drugs, and he went out and got the job at the mourge so he cant blame no one on that.
Altho Jon had a bad life, i agree that it cant make him a good musician...only makes him (at best) a good lyricist. all the rest is thru talent.
Jon had a rough life yea, but thats not the reason he's good, he had talent.

WTF??? Did I say it did? No. I'm not stupid, I know a tough life doesn't equal talent, and if you actually read my post properly, you might just realise that I wasn't even arguing about who was the better artist. But while we're on that topic, of course Davis is the more talented. He writes meaningful lyrics, can competently play multiple instruments (including bagpipes, name one other artist in rock music who can do that) and he actually has a vocal range, unlike Chester - or as I like to call him, The One-Note Wonder.

hey why dont you calm the f*ck down.. yea you pretty much implied that coz benningtons didnt have a rough life as davis that he has less talent you may not have said it directly but you implied it and even if i misread your post all i did was state my opinion can i state a f*cking opinon... can i? i didnt know i needed permission to state an opinion....and why the are you arguing for davis i already said he has more talent...try some decaf

Sure I did...even though, as I said before, we weren't even talking about who is more talented. I don't know where you got all that shit from, I wasn't implying anything. I was saying that Davis had a harder life than Chester, and guess what? Thats it. Nothing to do with how talented one or the other was, or how having a rough life makes Davis a better artist. I'm fine with you stating your opinion, and in the last part of my post, I wasn't arguing for Davis, I was agreeing with you and giving further proof as to his superior skill as a musician. The reason I got pissed in the first place was cos you were saying I said something that I didn't.
