The Dark Tavern

Sakura was about to say something when Tela tackled her. "Whoa!" she cried in surprise rolling down a short slope. She was laughing. "Dont surprise me like that,"

Tela smiled. Either the elven warrior had been drinking or she was extremely hyper. "Where were ya goin'?"

"Maybe to sleep?" she answered. It was the truth, she had almost fallen asleep when they had arived. "And...what are you guys doing? And...why are you so hyper, Tela...?" she added, blinking.

Tela shrugged. "Not sure." she laughed. "Oh, and there's a new guy here named Jak."

"Another new person?" she asked. "Who is he?"

"He says his name is Jak. Other than that I do not know."

"Well, ok, but how come you're out here? Felt like having some alone time with eachother...?" she taunted, deciding they deserved it after what Vash kept saying earlier.

Tela blushed slightly. "Uh, no, we came to apologize."

Sakura could have laughed at her sudden blush. Touchy...

"Well let me go first," she said. "Vash, sorry about, you know, my staff...I forgot it did that. You must understand that I've never really been around others that didnt know about it..." she paused. Tela. She thought Sakura had lied.

"And Tela? I didn't lie, I dont know elven. I know maybe 10 words, but thats it...I started learning it but then my brother di-" she stopped. "Well, I just never finished."

"I, uhh, oh Sakura." Tela said hugging Sakura. "I'm so sorry for everything."

Sakura smiled, even though she felt horrible inside. She'd learned to smile in hard times, it usually helped people. "It's ok!" she said. "Let's go find somethnig to eat! I'm hungry all a sudden!" she said brightly, and began running through the grass back towards Merlin's castle. "Onii-chan..." she said quietly, and for a moment her smile disapeared. But it returned a moment later then she turned around. "Race you,"

(Onii-chan? That is how you say 'brother' in japanese, right? Gah i cant remember XDD if not then whatever lol )

"Me?" Tela asked standing and smirking. "You have so lost, Saky"

"I think not," she countered, smiling pleasantly. She didn't know how fast Tela could run, actually, and by the sounds of her confidence, Sakura wouldn't win this race.

Tela smirked. Obviously Sakura knew nothing about an elf's speed and agility. Smirking she shot off towards Sakura.

Vash couldn't help laughing. His stomach growled. Thought he did not follow, he dissapeared and came back with a few drips of blood on his cloak thought...

"thankyou Archilles" jak said to a falcon on his arm the falcon gave him a small chicken

Tela cheered bbefore tripping over something that had moved in the tall grass.

Vash noticed the blood on his cloak, he wiped it off quickly before anyone could see it. They couldnt know... Vash saw Tela trip and ran over to her. "Are you ok?" asked Vash not seeing the thing moving in the grass.

Tela sat up. "um, yeah." she said. Her nose was bleeding from where she landed on it.

Sakura ran over also. "oh, you're bleeding, Tela," she said, frowning. Her head shot back up, though. "Wait, there's something there," she pointed to a thick clump of grass about 10 feet from them.
