Well, Magneto controls the electro spectrum, so he is not entirely hindered in just being able to control only magnetism per say.

I have to say that Magneto does not have to target Dooms armor to win, Electro pulses to Dooms brain, or Slowing/Stopping Dooms blood would be just as effective.

Like some one mentioned earlier

If its with prep time - I give the Clear Advantage to Doom

If its with out prep time - Magneto takes this just barely.

Don't underestimate Doom.

Doom fought Magneto once and he reversed the magnetic polarity of his armor so that when he tried to crush him with it, it got used against him.

doom takes it...when mags takes out doom it will turn out to be a doombot and mags will have lost his powers cuz the real doom was workin out a way to depower him...

Hold on a second--doombots? WTF? This is Doom vs. Magneto, you can't just say that every time Magneto wins it was actually a Doombot that he beat--that'd be pretty annoying in a comic, and this isn't a comic. We're trying to work out who'd actually win.

Besides, if Doom gets his Doombots (not necessarily a part of his regular every-day arsenal), then let's give Magneto all of Asteroid M, or time to set off his EMP....there go most of Doom's technological marvels. Heck, let's put Reed Richards in, but give him the Ultimate Nullifier--he wins!
