Only because of a plot device. Not because of power.
Also, I remember you saying a while ago that Mags has actually gotten the better of Doom...

Because Mags won't be able to control his suit? Hmm...
If that's what you're talking about, then wouldn't it be more plotty for Mags to control his suit? Also, I remember you saying a while ago that Mags has actually gotten the better of Doom...
Come to think of it, I'm not sure who'd win to be honest.
Doom nullifies the tactic of controlling the suit, which makes things a little more even.
However, I've seen some crazy things Erik has done in terms of power that makes me think he's > Doom.
However, Doom is brilliant, and his mind makes up for it.
I could see Mags taking a majority. 🙂
it was never decided how the the battle will start like just randomly on the streets or like they know eachother for a while and been studying and stuff (i.e. prep time). Doom has come out with some fantastic stratagems that shows he can get what he wants but all his success and ideas have come through time to think and plan and plot. Not something he can just accomplish on a whim. In a battle where there has been stated (no prep time, and no special equipment). I read somewhere that Magnus can actually magnetize stuff that can not be normally magnetized and that is his potential power. So to that idk about the whole not being able to affect doom. Doom wins if magneto is not in a arena with lots of metal stuff and he can't affect doom's suit.

What would keep Magneto from creating and expanding a magnetic forcefield in Dr. Doom's stomach? Doom is doomed here (yep, pun intended).
