Dr. Doom vs Magneto

Magneto fighting Strange to a draw is ****ing retarded. I don't care who wrote it. The man can walk through dimensions and conjour up almost whatever he wants. Seriously, what the ****.

Doom's beaten the Magus and Warlock, and those fights were actual fisticuffs. With regards to his magical abilities, during the Triumph & Torment storyline: after the contest where Doom and Strange beat all the other sorcerers, Strange actually trains Doom before they venture off to hell. Better than Dr Druid, Baron Mordo? Better believe it, after being trained by Strange. Plus I didn't see those two in the tournament, and the invitation was only sensed by those most attuned to mystical forces.

All I have to say is, as put by someone from another site, I'm a little tired of people thinking that losing to Reed "even Galactus and Uatu respect my intelligence" Richards and Marvel's first superhero team is such a bad thing.

does doctor dooms iron suit have some sort of anti-magnetic thing going on? if not then i think magneto would just crumble doom like a sheet of paper and throw him away......but thats in a random battle though

I forget when it was mentioned, but yeah, Doom made his suit immune to Magneto's powers long ago. Either that, or it's as mentioned earlier in this thread. And, he can always nullify his mutant powers.

Doom de-magnitized his aromor in their first encounter, the comic I posted earilier. Super Villain Teamp-up something rather. 14?

I doubt a de-magnetized metal suit would stand very long against someone who can control the very essescense of moleucular structure itself.

It doesnt matter, Magneto could just screw up Doom's electrical impulses to his brain, and his heart wouldnt pump, hed die...

I don't know, I hate to repeat things that have been said, but it's usually never that easy with Doom.

Well... Dr. Doom can basically invent whatever he wants, hes a genius and is super powerful in the ways of like everything...

And magneto can counter-act most everything he does...

After all argument and ploys to think of some complex scientific way of defeating Magneto, Doom ends up shooting him in the head with a rubber pellet. Then he brainwashes him and makes him a slave, because Magneto would make a very powerful pet...I mean ally.

He didn't punk him in X-men vs. FF. Magneto smacked Doom around, Doom then de-magnitized his armor, and punched Magneto, then the fight ended. It was hardly conclusive. IRTMU called it when he said all the different ways Magneto can end this. Magneto has overcome magnetic shielding before. No reason he couldn't do it to Doom in an extended battle.

If Doom has faced you before and already been prepared when he got smacked around, chances are he'll make sure it never ever happens again.

Anyone who fights Doom and gets the advantage will probably never do so again in hindsight, coz he's too vain to let it happen.
