[]I have a plan I will give a brief outline, there are three crashed covenant ships on the ring, A cruiser, a Sniper Ship, and a Carrier/Flag Ship. The flood capture the Flag Ship and life it off, but a Prophet and some elite troops are still alive in a small section, the bulk of the covenant Armada takes off in persuit, leaving only two ships at Halo, (These ships are specialized for carrying lots and lots of infantry). I didnt want to tell you this because it is a good twist, I have plans for the rest of the story, but I wont tell you those because they are just superb and cannot be revealed.[]
Ten roared and the three flood that were on top of him were sent flying in three different directions as he bashed them off of him, he jumped to his feet, grabbing his shotgun while he did so, and started to back off slowly, pumping out shells like a maniac.
His gun was empty, and he didn't have the time to put in new shells, he put the shotgun on his armor and grabbed his Assault Rifle and unloaded that clip, putting that away he brought out his Plasma Rifle, he wanted to save ammo. He pressed down the trigger and seared the skin off a floods chest with three shots, a fourth shot cooking the growth and killing it, the smell of burnt flood filled the air. []Reminds me of a quote. "I love the smell of burnt flood in the morning.[]
A flood leaped at him, a human form, but he lashed out with a straight kick to the chest knocking it back, a foot print shaped crater where the impact had taken place, the sicking crack of its chest place assured him it would be dead when it landed, which it was. He spun in his heel when he saw a flood run past going for Huon, he fired three shots into its skull, which superheated and cracked from pressure, boiled brain matter oozed out, Ten nearly dropped his gun when he saw this and that the flood was still alive. They dont need the host brain? he thought. He snapped out of it and fired five shots into its back, its spine broke from the heat and its top half swung forward causing the whole creature to fall, he saw Huon unload some rounds into it, effectively eliminating it from the fight.

As Captain Drickerson looked at a make-shift map of the ring in the center of the watch tower while the marines held back a covenant counter attack, he grabbed his radio.
"TEN, come in, this is Drickerson. what's your position? the flood fell back for some reason and were heading towards the library. about 50 infection and 10 elite flood. watch your back. as soon as Delta 666 gets our Scorp' in, we'll make a push through the covenant's counter-attack and try to establish another base near the covenant's base. if we can find a flyable ship, we can head back to the Subtle Redemption's wreck. if we can get it onto halo and blow it up, it will blow up the whole damn thing. once your done in the library, get over to the watch tower, I'll send another Pelican to the library's entrance, it will be there when you get out. get on and tell the pilot to get to Zulu-9-6-2. we're gonna need any body who isnt an damn covie or a flood freak to meet at the tower and make this happen. Got it?"
SupaTroopa, note that the ship is still in space, I dont see where it was posted that it crashed, it is a lifeless hulk in space, and where did this covenant counter attack come from, they have yet to establish any real ground based offensive, plus that fact that the flood army was blown up by a huge bomb....also you cannot communicate with me, to much interferense...there already are pellicans comeing...and your only a captain not in command, I am a major and out rank you. Did you read other peoples posts? If not then dont post something if you dont know whats happening, PM me for a recap or something...but don't post like that again. 😱
Take into account that I was pulled to the library along with the others without consent by 747 Burning Soul and have no idea of my location...your post is a good post but it contradics well...pretty much everything. 😄
Her elbow smashed through the face of a human combat form that tried to sneak up behind her. The spartan lifted the shot gun with one hand (a move that would be difficult even for marine) and fired into the chest of another oncoming enemy. This place was begenning to be an annoyance. This monitor was taking them somewhere that she knew she did not want to be. This ring needed to be destroyed, that was the only way to end this. The flood had to be stopped before they moved onto other planets.
Ten saw the flood start to cluster, perfect "Fall back." he spoke into the comm, he grabbed a frag and was about to throw it when he saw 116 was too close, "Fall back!" He shouted, but she didn't hear over the weapons fire. She had no helmet, a frag could kill her, and he needed to throw it NOW. He swore and ran into the group, flood getting bashed out of the way as he came, and rammed a shoulder into her chest plate causeing her to stagger back, he readied the frag and dropped it into the clustered enemies and threw himself infront of 116. "Don't move!" he shouted at her, the grenade would go off any second.

Huon unloaded 2 sheels into the head of a flood and noticed he had only 7 shells left and not enough time to reload.He had been firing a lot.After he shot off 5 more rounds he had 3 left.He used them to finish off a few elite flood.Then he dropped the gun and took out his pistol and walked over to a body.He was scorched and had many scratches and was feeling extreme pain but he kept going on with a considerable limp.He knew he was the least talented but he had to keep going.He dropped his shotgun and picked up a plasma carbine.Only a few rounds left in this clip.And there were 2 others he picked up and he retreated into his corner and reloaded.Then he continued to lay the fire down upon the enemy.

Nuron was now a few miles out from base, he heard the chatter of them packing up, "Those dimwitted ......." Nuron sighed and contiuned on, his armor truely showed it's colours in the wilderness, matching every, bush's design, his visor now non-reflectant, his eyes take a rest as he looks out from a high hill out of his siper rifle. There, 3400 meters due north west, a camp of Covenant, "Time to get some good information and tools (maybe even a few more plasma grenades), now who is that? A very different looking elite, armor, posture, attitude, and the other Covies reactions to his words." Nuron pondered on this as if one of his expiriments had just gone entirely wrong, he knew all there was to know about Covenant, for humans, even more, but never "this" kind of elite. He began his trek down the hillside, he heard it, not what he wanted to hear, sqirming, squishing, *BANG*, he reholsters his pistol in his right ankle, "I better get in that base soon." and left the infection flood, now more length in each step.
Shortly after spiers and his group land at the libraries entrance striker takes off and heads back to the tower to re-arm.. Spiers sends a message to striker saying that the outside is comprimised and they are fleeing to the inside, meanwhile striker receives word that dickerson and twenty other marines are nearby.. his pelican and two others all load scorpion tanks, only one remained at the base now.. but the need for the armor was dire.. more armor existed on the burnt out cinder called "Subtle Redemption" but it was all a faded memory.. Striker remembers hearing over the comms that a covenant cruiser went down nearby as well.. The idea comes to him, steal covenant arms and armor..
The pelicans arrive at dickersons location and deliver the armor, dickerson is ordered to take back the entrance to the library from the flood and hold it until he is relieved.. Striker and his three gunship pelicans return and then striker and two transport pelicans take off for the covenant cruiser..

The story is taking place at two places right now.
THE BASE
When the flood attacked, they came in the thousands, by sticking plasma gernades to some rockets Nuron managed to clear the ledge. (Silent Cartographer like ledge, with the two prongs). You went and got a warthog after it was clear and took the gunner position, Nuron got in the passanger seat, and a Marine drove you. Also the marines filed out onto the ledge and set up three 50-cals and took defenseable potions. The hog drove out about half a mile and dropped an experimental explosives device that Nuron was working on before they landed on halo. It contained enough destructive power to level half a mile radius, so went it went off it killed all the flood. The hog was not all the way back and sorta rode to shock wave as it was lifted into the air. It hit a tree and you were thrown off. Backbone and everyone besides people in the pilicans and library is at THE ORIGINAL BASE.
Pellicans are moving to the second location to evac.
LIBRARY
Liquid_Fire/ Ten | SilentWolf/Rae-116 | Huon | and Plo are in the library, and the Pelicans with Final and TheQuincy are enroute there now. While opening a door they were attacked by flood coming out of the big air vents on the wall. These flood are now about to all be killed by a nade which SilentWolf must post going off.
THIS IS NOLA ONES RECAP OF THE WHOLE STORY, NO MORE OFF TOPIC I PROMISE
The Ship Subtle Redemption was fleeing the Hunting Covenant Fleets from a part of human territory, they took several blind jumps to avoid tracking but the Covenant Ships being faster caught them. They had also found a Structure in space just like the Pillar of Autumn had found, the Covenant didn’t have time to deal with the human ship (because they were separated from the main fleet and no established main long range comm. (or else whole covie fleets would be here). Anyway all the characters had been on the one human ship, (I’ll say this must be an exploration vessel because we have a lot of Spartan protection, plus me and TEN, but anyway that shall unfold later) the characters I see in the thread now are (in now specific order):
Spartan 116-Slientwolf, Pilot Huon – Huon, Psycore Nuron – Nola_One, Spartan TEN, ZERO(who dies on landing due to flood) – Liquid_fire, Spartan Second generation Dennis – Backbone, - Supatroopa286, Clark – DarkC, Spartan Kiyo – Vathu, Pilot – Honda tadakatsu, luietenant pilot Johnathan Striker - FinalSepharim, (if I missed ya sry)
And the Covenant:
Liquid_fire – Shxzalor, Darth Execute – Asst, Plo, and Tekka (he’s the Leader)
Okay so everyone has their entrances in someway onto this Halo (not from the GAMES) Shxzalor is for the humans right from go, he knows wat the journey is, goes back to a covenat base to figure out the plans of action from the covies (big battle seens with a couple of Spartans in the mix), Huon (oh Huon ur quite the charater) he sets the marines in our about vicinity in a cavern with wreckage from a banshee, and two downed pelicans makes defensive position, ppl fight there way to the new fortication, Houn goes into cave, get captured, is released during the sun’s first morning(this things rotates pretty fast and all so were in about 2 hours and on like pg 77), the little encampment is overrun by the spying covies, the operational pelicans (5 of them) take off with the bulk of stuff, remaining marines take hogs and follow, Spartans go on foot, flood are now appearing (only infection forms) some insedents happen and a couple of resuce missions from Spartan to Spartan.
Pelicans find forunner building, in good condition, land inside, make base, hogs come in, Huon does his thing (ie check, recheck, and make sure everything is in order), there is now a massive wave of flood forming (but all infections, except for a few very early dead marines and all the Spartans are running with the remaining marines (this takes up say till 82, 83), Kiyo and TEN are the last ones to the structure (TEN is pissed cause ZERO and a lot of good supplies landed at the old establishment, which is now the starting point of the flood’s new forms) they close the building up but TEN got stuck outside, he used a Anti-Aircraft gun ripped from an inoperable hog to keep himself alive, Nuron jumps down from the top of the structure to take over the gun spread while TEN does his thing (ie Use his super strength to open the door and then pulse PM me or liquid_fire if u need info on this but just read it on pg 85-89 cause it’s one of the best parts put togther), and so everyone gets introduced, and ppl start exploring the tunnels of the building.
Now for the Darth execute/tekka and company they been following in cloak and are inside the building with us, (sry not much until now on elites) there is a quarrel between me, TEN, and Rae about Spartan rights, of living, and use etc., then the fun fun fun starts. We all start fight the different elites, (many marines go out the shoot if u know wat I mean), Tekka and Asst make for the tunnels of the building, Plo got stuck fighting the marines and Rae, Plo was apprehended and went with Rae to meet up with TEN and the other elites with Nuron, before she gets there a juggernaut flood shows up (see pg 90) and ya that gets dealed with, the we have our light bulb show up and take TEN, Rae, Huon, Kiyo and Plo into the library and they been fight flood trying to understand the bulb and how to get rid of the flood (and their gona find out soon that they shouldn’t), the base was then finally getting hit with stronger flood at the front door, they prepare the entrance, crack the door open (so that they can close it after they finish off the attacking flood, if they do which Nuron helps do) Nuron uses the crap all prototype cloak as a mini-bomb (by Nuron’s standards) to get rid of the flood, a mile or so blast radius, but only truly effective within half a mile, (oh and a bit of PSYCORE history blogs on pg 94 if you need to know something about ‘em), now I say we’re in 8 – 9 hours now, a ‘command’ was contacted now HQ on the Halo called Watch Tower, (MODIFIED) now FinalSepharim is bringing his Pellians with another char (forgot who) to the library, the rest of you at our base must pack everthing up and evac, obviously what happens in your choice while you are packing and waiting for evac.
