Nola was just outside the view of the perimeter guards, no cloaked men, must be ineffective against the flood, he saw recon scouts go out towards and come back from the direction of the forerunner building, no matter, he needed to find a way to get off this ring of a biosphere. He made it to the door, Shields, he needed a way through, There a covenant tank coming in, he ran for cover, under the chassis Nuron went. Inside looked simple enough, only a small camp at the moment, maybe 60 elites, the rest are details.
There that different one, the tank went by an open structure the Odd elite was inside, talking to two white elites. The tank went inside a building, he slid to the front of the tank to not be crushed when it was shut down, a garage, 20 ghost, 5 wraiths, more coming inside, 13 banshees, 6 spectres, "Guess I better talk to the manager."
The rotating of machines was over, six guards, two mechanics you could call them, changing, fuel cells, battery packs, and fixing any damage. There the bench of the south wall, plasma grenades, and a few plasma pistols, he went over to them, one guard saw him. The elites glare was like a laser redirecting to focus on it's target, *quite wisp*, the elite slided down the side of the wall, Nuron had put silencers on his pistols. He picked up the grenades, and the pistols, put his SMGs and sniper rifle under a ghost, charged up two pistols, *hisses off toward the two mechanics*, he switches pistols, *wisp, wisp* down they fall, the others heard them fall, the 5 cloaked. Nuron, now had his eyes go blue dark ocean blue, he now saw physical textures and distance, it didn't make the elites visible but, he could now see movement against other objects, plus his ears could hear the movement though I doubt these guys would slip up on some simple training. There north east corner, *hiss, wisp* down he went, he moved around the ghost, *wisp, wisp, wisp* one was right in front of him glad it was faced the wrong way to see him, one more now moved in to follow the other’s path, got his sniper rifle, *click*, too loud the other three came rushing to the south end, *hiss, hiss, wisp, wisp*, two down *Plasma rifle fire from the last one*, in it’s haste it gave Nuron the edge *BANG* head shot. “Now too make sure I didn’t set off anything.” Nuron checked, no alarms, too easy, he sealed the doors, went to the top, cut open the roof with what seemed like a wielding tool, very sufficient. He set up his sniping range, 6 Jackal Snipers, 10 turrets, 15 patrols, plus everyone else, “This wasn’t in the job description, but I don’t mind a tough cake from time to time.” And what a cake it was.
Elites were trying to make contact with the others inside the building. Suspicion was growing. Now to figure out how to get rid of the turrets after or before I take out their snipers, *looks around below* not much to use he sees, he doesn’t have time to use vehicle parts. He could throw grenades, but the patrols would see him, wait, the generator, he sees the shield generator, which should do the whole base over, and the flood would be happy to see that come down. He charges two plasma pistols, lets them fly, they all see it, he shoots two rounds into the main battery cells, *the generator cracks, BOOM, the whole system goes out, the east wall falls out*, they all fire around the hole at the top of the building, Nuron jumps down to the ground, an elite calls out “Flood!!!” the firing at the building halted, then it started up again but not firing at the building but every direction, “Time to leave.” Nuron set some frag grenades to go off after the main door opened, he got in a Banshee, the doors opened slowly, *BANG* the doors flashed a few elites went flying, but the Odd one walked in after the explosions, “I’m coming with you.” He said as if he was on Nuron’s side, “Then grab a Banshee and follow.” He replied, Nuron didn’t even wait for the Elite to get in a Banshee he went ahead too high air, the Odd one noticed all the vehicles rigged to overload there cells or grenades were quick wired too the engines, took one off a Banshee and followed in pursuit of Nuron, “Great more men for the flood army.” Nuron landed on high ground, and waited for the Elite to follow suit, and explain himself.
