USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II, EPISODE I (LIGHT SIDE)- Conspiracy

Started by Tptmanno1154 pages

Vlad, You need to get near them and try to stay ahead of them frame wise, If you have strike use it, because if im correct COC doesn't work on supermooks....

Ush But strike make a three frame attack take 2, so you counted me for a 3 frame attack, so I shoule be at 8 force and gain one frame? At least that by my calculations.

Force Dodge 1 and evade......

Rusky, Densk, Do you have speed? Use speed and rush up to Strine, I can't keep this crap up any longer!

I did not count you for a three frame attack. Did you want to cancel your Sidestep?

Strine scores a single hit, which you Evade out, Roan. That's it for your Force pool this sequence!

Xeth- your Reflections, I am afraid, go badly. And a guard scores a glancing hit on you for four damage and a death check... which you pass.

Further Reflections, then, from Rusky and Densk. A kill from Densk... but Rusky takes a hit again, for another six damage and further impairment! Btw, it was only nine damage before- miscalculated- so you claw two back.

Meanwhile, CofC DOES work against supermooks.

Fire, Do something to stop the decomposing!!!!!

This sucks 🙁 Stupid computer...

Xeth hacks down another pirate then takes out his sonic blaster.

"Roan, get that Taskmaster!"

No, Xeth, Leave that Mook, Fire at strine, make him dodge and stop shooting at us,

Densk, Charge Strine down!
Do you have Flying charge??

Oh and I'll attack the taskmaster...

BB says forget the mook and draw blaster...

great... I'll try and bother strine...master throw smth at him... and TRY and reflect those shots..

Ok, but Xeth is not ahead of Strine...

A +9 on your roll is certainly good enough, Roan! The Taskmaster is brought down.

We seem to have lost Densk, btw... but he and Rusky can Reflect again. However... it is all completely ineffectual on both sides!

That Throw will go through after Strine fires, Rusky.

*I try to get to the control room*

Ok- luckily the four quarters of the station are of the same design, so you are getting the feel for your route quite easily.

The control rooms are actually quite impressive- multi-layered, with the control room itself at the top of the chamber, with the lift next to it, and four exists on walkways. Three or four levels lie below, with various ancillary controls, and then leading directly at the bottom into the start of the factory area, with the liquid nitrogen works.

You are coming in by the top, Marcus. As you hurry along to the controls, you hear a cry from VIlpa just behind you. Something has wrapped itself around his leg from below, and yanked him to the floor. Now it is rapidly drawing back and pulling him off the walkway.

hmm can I launch my sabre at it with my "reaction😖abre throw" power? and then jump after it, if not can I jump to where Vilpa is and just hack into it?

Only if you had Bodyguard, Marcus. Else you can only React to attacks aimed at you.

You move, but the walkway is very narrow- Vilpa fails his acrobatics roll, and he is already falling.

(using pull on vilpa to pull him back up won't work either I assume)

Pull, no. Lift, though... you better had, because that fall is very fatal.

had? so you mean I'm too late? If possible (I still have lift at this moment in the game) I will do it

No, not too late, but we'll see how your roll goes...

You roll -2. But that is still a 12, where the difficulty was 11, so that goes in! Vilpa cries out for a moment as he is caught in a brief tug of war with what is pulling him down- seems to be some sort of cord, but you cannot get a good view on what is on the other end.

Then suddenly, the cord is released, leaving you able to hold Vilpa where he is in mid-air, but only at some considerable strain!

There is a hum, as the lift goes into operation.

can I raise up Vilpa to where I am?
if poss I do that and then I call my sabre to me

Yes you can, though you have to concentrate hard on it. As he lifts slowly, the lights indicating the elevator floor come on, level by level...

damn, can I find a place to drop him of?
