USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II, EPISODE I (LIGHT SIDE)- Conspiracy

Started by Ushgarak154 pages

Nope. Closest place now is up to you. You might be able to literally drop him onto the next level down, if you move him over.

then I'l keep raising him

You hurry to lift him as fast as you can, Marcus, calling and igniting your sabre in your other hand. The lift lights come up and up, and up...

Hurriedly you pull Vilpa up the last few feet, and scramble to your own... just as the lift doors open.

The man who steps out is wearing a worn leather top over a dirty white underlay, with a utility belt around his waist, with a gun holster. His hair is curly, but messy; his face is ill shaven, with a scar across one eye that lends him an air of faint contempt to all around him.

He takes one step out of the lift door and without hesitation, his blaster is levelled in your direction.

Speed roll for this sequence is a 6.

CURRENT SITUATION AT: Second Sequence, Frame 14

Vlad: 12/9/12 (by corridor entrance)

Droideka A: 0/13 (by corridor entrance)
Droideka B: 0/13 (by corridor entrance)

Control room, upper level

Marcus: 14/0/12 (Walkway- south)
Vilpa: 8/0/12 (Walkway- south)

Balek: ?/0/14 (Lift)

----

Vlad, as you pick yourself up off the floor, the Droidekas twist and fire at you once more.

Marcus, Balek opens fire at you. The lift is three frames distant, for reference.

I force dodge his shot

Balek rolls -4, a miss in any book.

Marcus: 12/0/11 (Walkway- south)
Vilpa: 8/0/12 (Walkway- south)

Balek: ?/0/12 (Lift)

Balek fires again

I'll let this one come at me

IM BACK GUYS

afro

Alright can i get over the brigade and flying charge Strine?
Am i already over the brigade

o btw who exactly is strine?

Sorry- Balek is owed a frame from Gunslinger; my error.

Balek rolls -5; another miss!

Marcus: 12/0/11 (Walkway- south)
Vilpa: 8/0/11 (Walkway- south)

Balek: ?/0/11 (Lift)

Your move. Vilpa looks uncertain.

"Vilpa stay here till I get to Balek"
runs as fast as possible towards balek (passive dodge as defence)

Balek fires once. he rolls +1, which with his Gunslinger at 4 makes it a 16- a hit. Also with Gunslinger, the base damage of his gun is 15, making a total damage if 11 to you, Marcus.

Balek does in fact have time to fire again, but doesn't. He lets his gun fall back to his holster, and raises his arm up across himself. With a purple flash, his arm's energy shield energises into life; he holds it across his body.

I assume you plan to attack him at the end of your move?

(Oh Good God! My nemesis is going to be mutilated by an insane bounty hunter!)

yep that's the idea

Blah! I'll hack him down then, snap the attack, active dodge if I miss.

Il use dodge Ush, and then I will use Riposte.

Ok, Xeth, just waiting for Roan to defend.

Balek takes an Active Dodge, Marcus. His energy shield makes him immune to all the normal disadvantages a person has up close against Lightsabres, and makes his dodges worth three points by default.

You roll a -1, Marcus- Balek blocks the blow with his shield.

Marcus: 12/11/8 (Walkway- south)
Vilpa: 8/0/8 (Walkway- south)

Balek: ?/0/8 (Lift)

Putting you and him on the same frame, Marcus. You would technically act next, but Balek immediately performs a reflex Head Butt back at you.

Ok, question, Vlad- you have two attacks on you. Note that you may only use one Defensive Action per atack. So you cannot Riposte AND dodge. So what do you want to do, against each attack? You may vary between the two if you wish.

*I use riposte* "Vilpa get here NOW"

I know it's not specified, Marcus, but I have to rule that you may not use a react-attack against a react-attack.

then I'll passive dodge
