Sunda already told you. Both your submitted plans depended on capturing fanatics alive- that is very hard. Your first plan even talked of repelling them- if they are truly that fanatic, you won't be able to repel them, you would have to slaughter them.
I should be amsuing and say he senses that with the Force... meh, but he doesn't. He should have done, though, Roan- something to work on there; not the most sensitive kid you ever saw.
Well, you guys have a small-to-medium sized freighter- as large as it can be and still be operable by a small crew like yours. It is unarmed and carrying a cargo of computer equipment. Not wanting to sound too bureaucratic, but whilst eliminating the pirates is the main priority, they do want that sutff back, and the less damage that is done, the better you guys will be judged for this misison. They can also provide you with the trade routes for this sector. You have all you need for the broad part of your plan, you just need to hammer down the details.

Ahh problem and Im stupid.
So basicly we have to kill all of the attacking pirates. Xeth has a R2 droid correct. ok here's what we do.
we take Xeth's droid along for the ride and when the pirates attack we rush the spot where they are boarding and try to puth them back into their ship, minimizing our damage. then IF we can take one alive, it would be great but its not nessesary. When we clear out their ship and have killed them all. Then this is where the R2 droid comes in. He gets to access the computer and track where the Pirates have come from and we go from there.
Xeth's droid is not mobile- and even if it was, it is most certainly a Merit to have a droid capable of computer hacking.
