(Egad, Ush is going to have my head....)

Okay, evil gamemaster...

Can we arrange a similar watch as done the night before ? And Kellan has considered Ascar's advice and decided to do the heavy meditation thingy.

sounds good

We'll move on in that fight...

Sunda performs another Strike, rolling +4 for a kill.

10 bad guys firing and four targets- three attack on each, only one on Sunda, which he takes the bodyguard dodge for again.

Hmm, another hit on Xeth for five damage. Everyone else stays safe.

Christof, no luck with that first snapped attack, I am afraid. But the second is a kill.

Meanwhile, back on Coruscant, that plan is just fine.

Gundark, as the night wears on you slip into a peaceful meditation as you let your senses slip out to probe the future of your charge.

Sensing the possible futures of a single being is extremely difficult, even for someone of your experience, skill and talent. Still, you have time, to make some sort of rough reading, and get an idea of danger in his future- though now you have already seen that someone is indeed trying to kill him, Ascar's comment seems somewhat less relevant.

You let your mind flow, feeling the ebb of the future, of troubles and problems and solutions and resolutions, and as the hours go by you focus your efforts on this one being, and...

Nothing

You seem to have slipped, and lost what you were looking for, almost coming back fully awake again. You left your senses drift again, focus, and find...

Nothing

This isn't right. You try once more, to focus on the task ahead, and...

Nothing

He doesn't exist. He will not exist, the Viceroy never existed. You can find no presence of him in the Force, which is, of course, totally impossible.

Gundark... you hardly know how to put this... but your Force senses... have failed. This has most certainly never happened before.

And so engrossed is Gundark in this meditative trip to nowhere land, it means she completely ignores her danger sense when it activates moments before there is great danger around for everyone in the building.

But Marcus doesn't- on watch just outside the Viceroy's door, you suddenly spring to attention. You have but seconds to act.

(Go Marcus go!!!)
Snap and cleave.
Reflection

+2 is good for both- another two down, Roan.

Only the second one, spit upon your lightsabre, seems to want to keep going, Still screaming in anger and rage (and what you are sensing from these people is almost off the scale), he is trying to push himself UP your sabre, to get another shot at you...

OK then. I bring my saber up to his head, semi bisecting him. to try and kil him instanly, then kick him off my saber.

Done- but you have never fought people quite this ferocious before, Roan.

*activations lightsabre while barching through the vice-roy's door*

*Shakes head*
"Something is really wrong here."

"And what clued you in? One, the endless stream of baddies or two, the fact that they like to die?!"

Normal attack.

Guard.

A +3 gives Roan another double, and a +1 from Sunda kills also. Christof also casually hacks one down.

One attack on each; an extra on Christof. All miss. Roan bounces a shot back for a kill.

Logically, they should surrender- but the last four seem as determined as ever.

-

Marcus- it is dark and quiet in here. Very quiet.

"They're almost suicidal, it's sickening..." Xeth shouts to his comrades.

Xeth makes standard attacks on two Corsairs.

Two kills, and you are still on frame 6, Xeth.

A snapped attack and then a standard one.

With somehwat ineivtable bad luck, your snapped attack rolls -7 and misses!

To complete the irony, your full attack rolls +8 and overkills severely.

However, an evens-rolling Sunda runs the last one through.

And that, as they say, is that...

Xeth deactivates his lightsaber and gets his blaster out again.

"Let's move onto the ship, see if we can get into their databanks to find out where the other Corsairs are currently, and rescue Nesere," Xeth says, heading towards the hatch.

"What was wrong with these people, Master?" asks Sunda.

And I recover 5 health.
I know I took that power for a reason.

*Shakes head*
"I don't know Sundra, I really don't know. But I've got a bad feeling about this."

Sence anything?
De-activate Saber.

Where can Jelena be while Marcus does this?

Yells: "Viceroy? euh guys a little help?"
*walks around the room very careful to find the light controls*
