USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II, EPISODE I (LIGHT SIDE)- Conspiracy

Started by Ushgarak154 pages

Nvm, SA. We'll keep your character on ice (doing guard duty) for now, and if you can get back later, all is well.

Cleave takes one frame but you cannot perform one now anyway.

Xeth and Christof both drop additonal targets, Christof rolling a whopping great +9!

As the second sequence begins, a third wave of a dozen pirates dashes in, screaming, if anything, louder than the ones before. Speed roll is a 4.

CURRENT SITUATION AT: Second Sequence, Frame 13

Boarding area

Xeth: 11/0/12
Roan: 5/0/10
Sunda: 6/9/10
Christof: 3/0/13

Anzat Corsairs x20: 0/11

Christof and Xeth to take actions, and if anyone wants to defend, please say.

holy crap!
I'll use Reflection for defence.

"I wonder how many waves they have..." Xeth says to himself.

Sidestep for defense, and Xeth fires again.

Sidestep is not a defence; do you want to activate it before firing?

No, Guard for defense, rather than activating Sidestep.

(Ush, where would I happen to be ?)

I want to attack two pirates. One snap and one normal...

(Rusky, you hadn't posted in awhile, so we didn't know if you were here...but you are! 😄 )

(I wasn't for a while, it's just that I'm back.. ush said I could start posting right away but I don't want to just pop up in the middle of the fight if that's not ok..)

The fight will actually be done before long so Rusky can join in after.

An evens from Xeth blasts down another target, whilst Christof continues with his whirl of death. His snapped attack rolls +9, and his other -1; both are good enough for kills.

This leaves 17 firers. A vast amount of blaster fire pours into a small space, and your deflections of those shots are making quite a mess of the walls. Still the pirates scream anger and defiance, ignoring their fallen comrades. Four attacks on each, an extra attack on Christof.

A +10, -2 and -1 on Roan. The +10 is a total of 19 and rather definitely a hit, which is nine damage. The other two he can bounce back with attacks of 10 and 9- one wound and one kill.

Sunda will do the same as before one Bodyguarded dodge. He chooses well, as that first shot would otherwise have hit him. The fourt shot, however, hits him for five damage.

Xeth, you cannot Guard, your sabre isn't out. And one shot hits home, for four damage.

Christof remains all clear.

Everyone up!

I'll super snap the wounded pirate and I'll use riposte for defense.

"Sundra! Are you ok?"
Snap an attack on a corsair.

Guys! If you have Cleave and You kill a guy with a normal die roll, use it! Cleave gives you a two for one bonus and I would like to get these guys down soon. The longer this fight goes on the more damage we take and thats bad!

(Really? Didn't know that...)

(And Christof, Riposte is for close combat, not people firing...)

Xeth exchanges his sonic blaster for his lightsaber (Draw), the yellow blade leaping forth and driving itself into a foe.

NOW Guard for defense.

(Yup its your brother's favorite move!)

Scratch my last post then...

Can I use cleave now? If so then...Yeah, I'll use it...

Guard for defense.

ooc

All i have computer acess untill tuesday night. Ushgarak do u want me to participate in the RP?

Riposte works just fine against people firing- so long as they are next to you. It works against all close attacks, not only melee attacks.

Noit actually possible for you to super-snap an attack on a mook, Christof- your CofC makes your standard mook attacks two frames, and the minimum you can get is one. Your snapped attack rolls evens, which is enough to kill the target. You may indeed Cleave but it will have to wait until after they fire.

Takes you a frame to put away the blaster, Xeth, but of course none to draw the sabre. However, without speed, it takes three frames to move into the fight.

Roan, your snapped attack rolls +2; a rather firm kill!

Sunda, after rather curtly replying "I'm fine, Master," uses Strike to hit at his next target. He rolls +2 for an 11, and that is a kill.

We now have 13 shooters and four targets- three attacks on each; an extra one on Christof.

I have a hit on Roan, for another five damage, and another on Sunda, for four.

And, with a grim inevitability, the fourth wave now comes screaming into the fight.

Christof may Cleave at once and kill one.

SA, probably not worth it just to wander into this fight- but keep an eye on things.

Crap!
I killed one too! I'm gonna use cleave.
Then another snapped attack.

Consider it done, and consider two dead- the second most definitely so with a rather mighty +9. Sunda uses Strike again, and rolls evens- netting himself a kill on a 9, thanks to a level in CofC.

do I have enough time for another cleave?
If not than reflection as defence
