***well then what was all that babble about the importance of this data pad? Im so lost again it aint even funny 😖 ****

Ah, I am afraid this is an exercise in point spotting! However, it was aimed at Marcus (just the way these things work I am afraid)... and I think you would be least likely of all to get the point, as you only just joined, Clarion.

Ithrorn gave a clue in that you should bear in mind the important things about Nebb. I also gave you a ludicrously deadpan clue, but I don't think anyone spotted it.

-

Ok, Anzat fight starts tomorrow...

*good to know, that I am expected to be clueless. It seems to work for me!* hysterical

"Good idea Vlad"
*tunrs to Vilpa: The Neimodians are top-notch busniness men, surely there ways of doing business are pretty aggressive from time to time. They are still good in what they do. Everything has a place in the universe and everyone has a role to play in it"

"Are you saying you support the means and methods of the Trade Federation, Master?" asks Vilpa.

"No I didn't say that, I said they are top-notch business men"

Interpolation of the Aestholian Mean as applied as a whole of the socio-dynamic of the eastern quadrant legal cycle between the second and third ages of...

Does it have anything to do with that?

"Maybe we should have it analyzed at the Temple...or maybe send a copy to Master Marcus?" Gallagher suggests, receiving his own food and dining upon the soup.

Vlad, as the trio walked was listening to everything. He heard it from his master before, but he still listened.

"Very well, Master..." says Vilpa.

Ok, you guys can pretty easily get to the bar on foot within two hours, and during opening time too. Your plan now?

-

It's kinda to do with that, Gallagher, but most likely not in the way you are thinking. And if it needed sending somewhere for analysis, Ascar wouldn't have thought you guys could just see what he meant.

Bear that in mind. Have a look at what Ascar said again, think about what you know about Nebb, and try and keep it simple.

Meanwhile, you guys can move onto the next day, day 3, which puts you now in the same time frame as Marcus and Vlad, who were travelling during day 2. So, quick question- what are the guarding plans for the evening; who is on watch etc. Remember it is far easier in this safehouse.

-

Ok, Anzat crowd, here goes!

Your Intrusion rolls are very good indeed, and the three of you reach the Bridge doors relatively incognito.

Now Xeth attempts entry. He rolls -3 for a 6... oh dear, and that door is locked at level 12. The alarm sounds. Red lights shine out and sirens start to wail... uh.oh...

Speed roll is a 6.

CURRENT SITUATION AT: First Sequence, Frame 15

Forum, third level

Xeth: 12/9/14
Roan: 12/1/13
Sunda: 6/8/13

Pirates x12: 0/12
Auto-turrets x6: 0/12

Forum, second level

Pirates x12

Forum, first level

Christof: 10/5/15
Densk: 10/0/15
Rusky: 12/0/13

Pirates x12: 0/12

Conveniently, 12 pirates, armed with blasters, per level at first. The auto turrets (they are mook turrets) just opened up when Xeth set off the alarm. Gunmen can shoot pretty much anywhere on the map in this open area. At this point, Christof and Densk can strike with surprise if they so wish, or wait their moment for later.

Ok folks, get going...

BTW, please tell me if I have failed to update your character in the archives.

"Perhaps the data pad serves as some kind of warning that Nebb is not to be trusted?" muses Clarion.

"Why did you hesitate Vilpa?"

"Xeth, Sunda, help me out, Im gonna open these doors."
Can I try to open them like Xeth or would it be completly useless? If so I'll just saber it.

(Forgot to update mine...)

Xeth will have his blaster out and fire a shot at one of the auto-turrets.

They'll be sealed from the inside by now, Roan; a bypass might take forever. Better to sabre it, but this is a blast door- 15 frames to open, during which you cannot use a defensive action; if you ever do use one, two frames are added back to the cutting time. The only exception to that rule is Bodyguard- if someone else is using that Trick to cover you, you can active dodge under the rules for Bodyguard as normal.

Xeth, three of the turrets are within good range of your sonic gun; the other three are at -1 to hit due to the wave dispersing.

Your first roll attack is minus five. Damn! You blow out a stantion next to the turret, but not the turret itself.

Four of the pirates are within melee range, Sunda hacks at one as he draws. Sunda rolls +2 for a 10; enough for a kill.

Roan, Christof and Densk still to act; up top, Roan and Xeth are under fire from eight pirates each, and two turrets each; any kill Roan makes before that will reduce these attacks. C and D still not under threat until they act.

-

Ithrorn offers to take the outside watch.

"I've only been here for a day, I can take the more arduous work," he says.

-

"I... was trying to sense the feleings behind your words, Master," says Vilpa.

Well, you're there!

Xeth will blow a point to Draw so he can defend with Reflection.

"Roan, I'll cut and you cover me!" Xeth says.

(Roan has bodyguard, and he's the only one in the entire RPG, Dark and Light!)

Can't bodyguard yourself, sadly!

Still, can't help thinking you'll be needed in the fight too, Xeth...

Xeth preps another shot and yells to Sunda.

"Think you can cut the door, my lad?"

Oh hell yeah, he's up for that!

(hey ush, where am I now ?)

Ah, there you are! You are down below with Densk and Christof.
