USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II, EPISODE I (DARK SIDE)- New Order

Started by General Zink125 pages

We'll have to find a new entrance, at Rianna's suggestion because Osokans know that we know it exists. Oi...

A chase is better than hacking through walls of Osokans.

Don't suppose there are any vehicles we could comandeer?

Possibly, though you need pilot to drive, and this would all be at rather short notice rather than carefully planned as may have been preferable!

(Shit.

I have to go, I'll be back in a bit, I'll see what I can toss together in the time being.)

Goody, a simple thing is becoming hectic...

Forget the vehicle, if we race up to the starport in one, they'll decide to completely forget the explosion and come after the speeder.

I am fine with the chase, so I suppose we'll run to the starport.

As for an entrance...um...any maintenance entrances?

You know what they say, Rand- no plan survives contact with the enemy.

Maintenance entrances... depends what you mean. There isn't going to be a huge inspection hatch that leads in the back way, as this is a starport, not a factory or spaceship.

But... it's a starport, y'know? It isn't actually a very secure installation.

We can go all into...

THE AIR VENTS! 😛

(waits for Ush's response)

It's open plan; most of it doesn't have a ceiling. It doesn't really have vents that stretch to the outside.

I am pretty he's being a smart ass, since we tried to use the vents so many times that you had to repeat "Not large enough to admit your hand..."

*whacks Rex*

Any stairwells or lifts that lead to that open roof?

Yes... inside...

Could we scale it with timed Jumps?

Err, maybe, though that's probably needlessly flashy. You can climb it if you want to make acrobatics rolls.

Nothing has come to mind, except the jumpy thing...but a bunch of people jumping up walls would probably attract some attention...

climbing sounds the best so far...
vents, as i previously had the pleasure of asking..are too tiny to let us fit...

Just a note, Rah- Combat Push bugger all good except against basic mooks, as it does almost no damage. Care to switch?

Sorry I should have said I really ment it as a bit of a distraction to give me a tad more surprise element.

Ok Rha. Well, my rolls from you show that you actually finish these guys off before they have a chance to strike back! Which is nice.

Only now there are another two, hurrying over from the opposite direction, having heard your sabre flashing. Just before they spot you, you are surprised to see Doon walk out in front of them.

"Ah! There you are!" he says to them. "I've been looking for you. I was wandering if you can help me. See, I happen to be an escaped fugitive..."

Doon is frantically motioning with a hand behind his back for you to move around the building to the other side, Rah. He just rolled +3 on his Lying roll, giving him a 16, which is enough to bamboozle the Osokans for now.

Ok, the chase is on to get to the starport walls.

You guys will be making running rolls based on Lightsabre. Each successful roll will bring you 'x' of the way there, where x is your Agility score. Fail a roll and you make your Agility minus the negative Outcome instead, which may be zero if you roll too low, represneitng you tripping over. You have five rolls to make up 20 points of distance. After five rolls, the chasing Osokans catch you. Those of you who make it there early have a mich easier time climbing.

Those of you with Speed can, in addition:

Make a difficulty 8 Force roll to increase your distance moved by 50%

A difficulty 10 roll to increase it by 100%

Or a difficulty 12 roll to increase it by 150%

Fail that roll, though, and you may end up doing worse... ok guys, time to choose! And make sure you let me know what you want to do when you get there.

how's the wall looking. what can you climb on, on it.

i guess you can do the rolls for takuan. i don't have speed.
he starts climbing as soon as he gets there

I'm thinking there was probably a much easier way to do this... Like the fact that the Oskoans would have run off to the explosion just as we walk in, and then there'd have been no need for all this jumpy-climby stuff.

Ah well, may as well just climb. No speed though...

Good thing Rianna has a high agility...

Don't have Speed, so I'll just run there and start climbing up as soon as I get to the wall.

Galder will just run for the first roll to see how things work out.

Oh joy...

Nume starts sprinting as fast as his feet can carry him to the starport.

(Would you advise against using a standard entrance?)
