USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II, EPISODE I (DARK SIDE)- New Order

Ok, Rah, I am assuming you are not using Speed, as you have not asked to. The power relay explodes not long after you start your mad dash.

And in fact, the rolls show that you make damn good time. This is gamble you have certainly gotten away with, and you can re-join continuity- if not location as yet- with the other players, in the same situation as Galder- clear up the wall but you might be intercepted as you head into the starport. Where do you plan to go?

Galder, you have three Hunters blocking your Path. Guard is all very well but they are not going to stop being there.

Rianna and Tanic, are you planning to simply run into the place where thr transmitter is?

Takuan and Rand- the Osokans are following you in through the windows. Crisis! Others are moving to head you off, is what Sense tells you.

(remember Sense isn't a map; it gives indications, not directions)

Galder will attack two of the Osokans, whipping out his lightsaber in a sudden flash as he hacks through their chests.

Rah is going to head for Galder.

Tanic will run toward the transmitter until he Senses a lot of danger ahead of him.

okay..sense for any other safe corridors

Err, define 'safe'.

Danger Sense is Intuition; Sense doesn't tell you how dangerous things are. And your Intuitive danger sense is giving a blanket "anywhere that way" warning already, Tanic.

How do you plan to find Galder, Rah?

Galder, your targets both dodge; your attack hits one of them, for 20 damage. They all strike back, but none of them hit.

Galder: 8/15 (15)/6
Osokan Hunter: 20/4
Osokan Hunter: 0/4
Osokan Hunter: 0/5

Erm... head for the sounds of fighting???

I'd have to let his senses guide him.

Running there straight probably wouldn't be too good an idea as it's obviously not a safe place and we don't really want whatever's there to see us coming...so we should probably find a path there that will keep us hidden.

Or, have Rianna take advantage of her Intrusion skills (😛) and sneak up and take them by surprise while Tanic waits nearby and then runs in.

Trickster? Which idea do you think looks better?

Maybe the latter one...

Tanic follows Rianna, until she motions for him to wait. (Heh, no responsibility for me anymore!)

Ehh, if we want to surprise them by the transmitter we're going to have to make our way over there unnoticed anyway, which I thought of after I posted but couldn't be bothered to edit/post again 😛

Hohum. Well, we could just run straight, I'm sure that;d be pretty surprising. Anyway, Rianna leads, relying on her senses. Also, Tanic will be feeling for any smotions that culd mean ambush.

Surprising, yes. Obvious, yes. Not much point in sneaking up on them if they see us coming from halfway across the starport....

Okay, this is what Trickster and I decided on.

We'll follow our Senses over to where the transmitter is, using cover to make sure we're not seen. Once we get there, Rianna will use Intrusion to sneak up on whoever/whatever's there, and attack. Tanic will be waiting just out of sight, and will leap in as soon as Rianna attacks, hopefully catching them off guard.

*hopes this works*

Yeah, but t'would be funny.

Like, Monty Python and the Holy Grail funny.

But no - we are going with the second plan.

The problem is that you are having difficulty precisely sensing its location. You don't even know what it is. You have a good instinctive feel but not a precise lock.

I'll remind you, your Intuition says it is dangerous immediately, so if Tanic wants to drop out before there is any chance of him being spotted, that time is right now, which is quite some way from the transmitter. If you were deciding to take the sneak option, you have the same issue as before- only people with Intrusion should have been sent on it.

I am afraid you are not getting any sensory info that will let you home in on Galder, Rah, though you do have this vibe that he will be wherever trouble is. If you follow that sense you will likely run into trouble yourself.

Galder will attack the Osokan he struck, Guard for defense.

Um, maybe we should just run in. I expect, however, that the transmitter is on their ships....

+3 is hit and a kill, Galder, and they strike back with +7 and a +2. +7 is a hit for six damage, which impairs you a bit more.

Galder: 6/21 (21)/3
Osokan Hunter: 0/1
Osokan Hunter: 0/2

You sense more coming, Galder.

"I don't have time for this shit..."

Can Galder leave combat without giving them a chance to strike? Perhaps veer off in a different direction.

(Gah...whatever, we'll go with whatever Trickster comes up with then, because right now I simply don't have the energy to think about this.)
