Ok, well, whether down to an error of planning, or selfishness (and that's part of life on the Dark Side) we have an issue with those left in the centre. I will rule that one Captain and theee Hunters give chase as people flee south, taking tem three frames. That leaves ten of them attacking Rianna and Takuan, including two Captains.
The Captain by Vash turns to attack Galder as he runs past him and dumps Rand on the ground.
One of the Captains scores a hit on Rianna, for seven damage she does not need, impairing her a second , third and fourth time. Her riposte drops another Hunter, though.
Luckily, Galder is missed.

Ok, still everyone except Takuan- which is certainly a problem, because Galder has abandoned him to throw frames away picking people up and putting them down again.
Rianna wants to escape, which she can, but Takuan will then face nine attacks.
Oh, you big load of girl's blouses! Just when I thought things were getting truly mercenary... heh, nah, can't blame you. Still, always interesting to see how things look when the pressure is on.
Ok, so Galder runs back to Takuan...
Rah, I'll say he doesn't dodge that as he is not used to it... though a melee wepaon is at +2 difficulty to affect. You roll +4... success!
The Captain raises whis whip for another strike, and is then surprised when it slips backwards out of his hands with some force, and skitters across the ground. He runs over to where his weapon has gone, taking 3 frames.
Ok, an attack on Vash, which I shall say he dodges. Bah- misses by miles. A second one attacks him too- this dodge keeps him safe.
The three Hunters take Rah. They miss- one of them just misses- and Rah gets his riposte, which is dodged in turn. Rah rolls +3 for a 13; a direct hit.
Leaving eight attacks on those in the middle. I'll say none at all on Takuan as you guys cover him; four each on Galder and Rianna.
Rianna's dodge saves her. She also rolls a fantastic +11 on her riposte roll- a shame she is so impaired! Still a hit, of course, for 26 damage.

Ok, and remembering that Rand is still on the ground... time to goooooooooooooooooooooo!
You may all act.
Rianna runs from the center as fast as she can.
I say that we need to have those people who aren't carrying around people who are out provide cover for those who are. Anyone want to add detail to this plan, feel free.
And Galder, kindly provide some cover for Takuan and myself while we escape?
Two Active Dodges for defense.
Heh...
I think the question I am asking is- which way are you guys going to go? You cannot just keep saying 'Away' until you get tu the magical land of safety.
(I call it 'Safetoria'😉.
Ok, five attackers, five targets. I guess Vash can take an extra dodge to save an attack on Takuan, though frankly there are several of you not wanting to be hit; it is the frames Takuan cannot afford. Rianna was willing to take two dodges also, saving an attack on Rah. The Osokans miss.

Ok, at this point, Rah has Rand, Rianna has Tanic, and everyone is to the south of the crossroads by the silo you traced the signal to.
