Gah, people still over-powering Persuade! No, you absolutely cannot use it to make him forget all about you. Persuade only ever works in the present- it does not alter someone's mind permanently
Yes, you can go for the mass security deletion route... but it would be a hundred times easier just to get a decent cover story and lie well enough...
"Rare weaponry?" asks the Doctor. "Left exposed during hyperspace navigation? And like I said, these are wounds from standard issue weapons..."
"Pfff. He likes to say they're rare, but as I'm sure you can tell, we're not well enough off to be collectors of anything exspensive," Tanic smiles an embarased smile, "I hope you won't see us any worse for being less than what your beautiful planet is used to."
He manages to keep himself from snorting at the complimet to the planet, though.
Subterfuge. Hopefully that'll work.
Well, after the Doctor checks you out- still protesting against the early release- you guys can go eat, take a cool drink...
... and talk things over! I know a few of you have things to say- there is certainly much to discuss. On a basic level, the subjects are:
1. What just happened?
2. Who is Helkin?
3. What was he doing there?
4. Why the Osokans?
5. Where is Kuylen?
And there's more, but for those of you who have not thought things over already, that can get you started.
Galder orders a glass of Aludium pu-36 and grabs a large table for the gang. He removes a cigarette from a compartment in his arm and lights it, puffing out a cloud of smoke before talking.
"Well, wasn't Demarus fun? Don't you want to go back some time?"
(I, Rex, am not grounded, and Zink is back from vacation as well. BB is still off in Lalaland...)
(Indeedy, though I laugh at Rex's misfortune...)
Nume Rand sits down across the table from Galder with a glass of the euphoric drink Chav, motioning for Tanic and Rianna to sit on his left and right. At Galder's remark he frowns angrily.
"No." Rand takes a sip. "I do, however, want to find Kuylen, and kill Helkin, and eradicate the Osokans. Two of those three could happen in my life time, but I want to know why it didn't two weeks ago."
