USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II, EPISODE I (DARK SIDE)- New Order

A combination of Galder and Nume would be good for hacking the networks...

I have one! Galder and the Starkillers! 😛

"Well I suggest we start looking, this planet is making me skitty and I'm just about ready to start killing for fun..." Rah says almost gloomily

Ok, a -2 on both rolls. Working from a public access terminal you access the Government database on Coruscant and see what you get.

Helkin has a basic file you access, but you cannot delve into any secrets, or even determine where such secrets might be if the exist.

BUREAU OF IMMIGRATION AND UNDESIRABLES PERSONNEL RECORDS

Helkin, Rado

Age: 29

Rank: Agent

His previous service record includes time in law school, security training, and an undisclosed job working for the political service. There are also notable gaps in his record- not deleted areas, simply parts of his life not included on the file. Cloak and dagger stuff, most likely. It also includes a three month stint as a field researcher for the Senatorial Oversight committee on Immigration and Security. Rand, you've not heard of that one before, but it appears to be the body from which Helkin gets his authority from, to enofrce law like he did on Demarus.

Other than that, information on the Bureau, and more on Helkin, seems very hard to get; sadly you have no experts in that area.

Meanwhile, Takuan- who is hardly Mr. Technical- can visit the starport, to get the wheels moving to get your ships ready for departure. They have been undergoing their refuel and refit, and in typical Cynelline style, it will be a full 24 hours before they are cleared for launch again. You thought you may as well start the process now, as you are getting anxious to leave. You were hoping to find a way to expedite the process but nothing simple is forthcoming. Anyone else not working on the computers can be with him if they want but a lot of you are not really social people...

Takuan heads to speak with whoever is responsible with the launch clearances

You've done that bit.

"what seems to be the delay with our ships?" asks takuan politely
"they are ready to go, i assume.."

"Standard safety procedure is for a 24 hour observation period after servicing to double check," explains the official.

"oh..i know these ships like the back of my hand. they never let us down...well...not unaffected by our last phenomenon. i Doubt there's need to keep your hangars occupied with them. and we are in a bit of a hurry..."

Galder hits a few more buttons. "That seems to be all I can find, Rand..."

Rah headed off to the spaceport with Takuan in the hope of jumping planet "Hey, we dont all live forever you know so do you think we might be allowed to leave sometime nowish?" Rah says trying to keep the anger out of his voice "I mean; once we're in space you wont need to worry about are ship defuncting will you!" He stares at Cynelline for a few moments

He clucks his tongue.

"Research shows that one in every thousand space accidents are caused by insufficient care and attention before take off. A little bit of time is a small price to pay for thoroughness..."

In fact, it seems to be the law here that you have to wait- the Cynellise are serious about health and safety.

God, you want to kill someone...

(Hmmm! Please dont give me ideas....)

Tanic, standing by Taukan, absently toys with the idea of pulling out his lightsaber and cutting the Cynelline in half. Discarding the idea, he begins to try and find a way through the law. Maybe pretending they were Jedi Knights? Sounds like no-one cares what happens on this planet anyway...

Yes, but part of the reason for that is precisely because they are so precise and official. A ruse like that would take time and preparation.

"well..i'm sure you must have a policy of some sort which we can sign, as to us agreeing to take the risk of being that 1 in 20 thousand.
As i have said...we are in a hurry and can linger no more"
says Takuan

"I'm sorry, I can't help you," says the man. "It was actually on the contract of service..."

(did we sign one?..)

Yes. That's why you knew. As I said, you went because you were anxious to get the process started, as it was going to take 24 hours.

well...i don't know if we can deal with it without resorting to...what makes us dark siders 🙂
and that could trigger more problems. is it imperative that we leave today?

Rah turns away from the Cynelline and then using his comm link he enquires as to how the others are doing.
"You might want to get over to the space port ASAP we're going to be leaving soon!" he finishes.
"Well you wont mind if we at least go on board and prepare so that we can leave as soon as clearance is granted will you?"
Using the force he toys absently with his sabre as if about to launch an attack....
