USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II, EPISODE I (DARK SIDE)- New Order

Started by Dexx125 pages

(well that's the thing, rah. we have to not abandon a member, no matter what. we might as well end up as damaged as we did again. even if we do work as a team...besides....if we leave one behind, as you might already know....we have a calculated enemies number for all of the team members. we'd just be fighting them will less personel)

(I know I'm just trying to play in character... 😉 )

(well yeah..in character, as i said. we can loathe eachother as much as we want. but we have to stick for eachother..even as darkies. that's what can make us strong.)

And Ush probably got sick again...

And THEN I read the notice...

(You guys can develop your characters more in my 'The Tavern' thread.)

Ush will smack you for that... 😛

I begged permission... It was only him and Fire that showed interest in the idea anyway. 😛

hmm..must step in, sometime..

Oooh, has this in-depth conversation ground to a halt then? I didn't actually have anything to add myself, this was supposed to be YOUR time.

Does anyone have any bright ideas or theories or endless complaints to bring to proceedings? The food is extraordinarily dull, by the way.

(Um, maybe if we made a pact to hunt down any of us that left someone behind... Even the most powerful among us would have to abide by that, through fear of the others.)

umm..we don't need a consequence of leaving someone behind. we simply must not do it. and BELIEVE that's the best and only way.

(But our characters, as proven by Baylin, are skeptical of stuff like that. It is a good idea, better than mine, but we need something as an aim, if we're gunna be able to hold by belief, don't we? And since we didn't find Kuylen, we don't have one.)

that's just it..they're NOT skeptical. You might be skeptical about another's nature...origins..way of acting, etc. AS i said...we can laothe or be suspicious on eachother as much as we want. but when in doubt of abandonment, our characters must KNOW that if they do abandon a team-mate....we'll most likely die. (maybe not DIE....but waaay too much stress for a game 😄 )

our aim is our group integrity....
as long as we stick together and efficiently act as a group...we will be powerful. that's the best of an aim we have..

The primary reason you come together is indeed to survive.

Still, if you guys WANT to work on a focus in the same way Kuylen did, I would not object- you could always come up with an ambition. Or even a group name, if it is not too cheesy.

Anything that gets you thinking together about your group is helpful to the dynamic of it all, because it gets you more into the spirit of things.

And yes, of course the fact that you are Dark Siders complicates matters. But I can explore that in plot. Basically, treachery and other forms of selfish advancement are only at all interesting, in a plot sense, if there is a decent group dynamic to be abused/betrayed in the first place, if you see what I mean. If you are just always being nothing but deceitful and treacherous and totally unreliable and single-minded then you are more like a bunch of petty schoolkids than the feared agents of evil that I think you wanted to be when you signed up for this gig...

Other than comments on what was (i.e. what happened on Demarus) and what is (this talk on the group dynamic), what about what will be? Any plans? Comments on the other two things still welcome.

well...we need a plan to go back to demarus and find kuylen. and ofcourse....not have helkin surprise us with an attack.

(a group name would indeed be cheesy 😛)

(Right lets get bus back on the road, we were discussing what to do next and I think we were all pretty much up for finding a way to get Helkin back, or at least to fid out his agenda and what bearing it has to Kuylen.)

After a looooong silence Rah pips up "I wonder... is there any where around here where we can try and dig up some information on this Helkin? I mean he was acting like an official so he must work for someone, and therefore there must be records on him!" He says trying to muster some optemism.

(Do we have a slicer or someone with slicing skills to accesss an information network?)

***Group name DaSRUS!*** 😕

"you'll undestand if i have my share of doubts.." starts Takuan "..that we won't find much on him. even if we do. it'll most likely be legit.
He was there as a honourable republican representative. I'm don't think we'll find osokans as his employees in any report. then again..it doesn't hurt to check."

(dunno who has the skills...certainly not i)

The skills you are looking for are Savoir-Faire (to know where to look) and Fix-it (to bypass any technological obstacles).

I would suggest Galder... Fix-it 9(the highest) and SF of 10. Or if Nume told him where to look, then would be a highed Savoir-Faire skill.
