USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II, EPISODE I (DARK SIDE)- New Order

Started by Baylin125 pages

Rah tires to positition himself so that they cant all attack simultaneously without catching each other, he then ripostes and dodges the hunters and if necessary he will evade the captain.

Rianna rolls evens on her re-roll and drops her target.

Snapped? Sir is brave... a lot may rest on this roll...

The Hunter dodges, taking his defence to 13. You roll +1, taking your offence to 16. -2 for the snap makes that 14... hit! Kill! The Hunter is dropped, the way is clear, and that is you two done until the end of the sequence as you smash out the ring that was around you. Nice bit of concentrated firepower there, folks.

Ok, Rah, I'll give you one riposte, two dodges, and one dodge/evade if necessary.

Your attackers roll...

-3, +1, +3, +4.

The -3 is a miss and you vigorously riposte... unfortunately, you roll -8; in the giddy confusion you let yourself be blocked.

The +1 and the +3 you dodge, but the Captain has struck home with a 17. Even using Evade to drain your Force pool, he still catches you for four damage.

Ok, Tanic has managed another three frames of cutting, for seven in all.

Now, however, things crowd in. Two Hunters move around Rah's flanks and engage Tanic directly, and only Rah's continuos shifting is stopping him having to take on more; the wall prevents them surrounding you. Phew!

Four attacks on Rah again, and two on Tanic.

Takuan makes a slash at one of the hunters. note that he is veryc areful not to be engulfed and surroudned in the combat. he's a in a corridor, if i remember correctly....so he should be facing them from the front only..
i want my exit clear, in case of trouble. 🙂

You remember wrongly; you are in a large room. You are moving to attack them?

(Bit of an experimental defense here, and I think Rah may need to use his lucky merit, if he can...)

Rah's starting to get quite mad now, these Osokans are really p***sing him off big style! He starts screaming, and using all of his acrobatic grace, he ducks, dives, weaving about randomly waving his sabres around madly towards the Osokans trying to make himself as harder target to hit as possible...

Dodging everyone would keave you SERIOUSLY in debt for the next sequence, Rah.

err..😄 hehehe...no.
i run towards an exit

(Ok then, so much for trying the reckless darkside approach...)

With his blades held out front and back and sticking out as far as possible at offset angles Rah pirouettes rapidly making it dangerous for the osokans to attack

Err... so how many of four do you want to dodge?

(All of them, I'm kind of trying to make it realistic. Rah is really pi**ed off and is showing it by acting slightly irrational, he isn't afraid to die and he's showing it - in reality hardened experienced warriors have been fazed, even scared by "mad" men. This is what I'm trying to portray, if it doesn't work I'll think of something else)

(In Star Wars, reality hardeneed experienced warriors are replaced by insane pig things from space...)

(You callin' me a pig son! 😛 )

Ok then, Rah... pig rolls are +2, -1, evens and +2. You dodge them all...

Two attacks from Tanic, which he tries to kind of half dodge, but at -2 to his dodge...

+4, hit, and +3, hit. That is sixteen damage in all, and Tanic is in trouble quick off the bat.

At the end of the sequence, Tanic has cut for ten frames.

Second sequence speed roll is a 6.

Ok, here is the situation

Promenade people, you are surrounded by a mass of Osokans. There is no question of making any escape now other than your cut exit, which is two frames from completion.

Rah faces four attacks again. Tanic faces two, and a third from Vargas, who comes around to make a Quick Attack, only taking him two frames. Rah, you start this sequence almost floored- you have dodged to the point where it;s going to be very difficult to get THROUGH the damn hole once it is done.

City streets people- Rianna and Rand, you run through the streets to a nearby crossroads, and from there... oh bugger...

Galder, you swim on, the river now approaching the centre area where climbing will be easier. But the ones at the side have gotten ahead and are at the centre already.

Takuan, you try the east door...

... locked. The starport is on security lockdown. It will take two frames for te bad guys to reach you.

Plans? Better be good ones...

(Attacks on me coming up?)

Galder will attack that injured Osokan before attempting to leap up and out of the river.

You cannot leap in the water any more now than then, Galder. And you cannot clamber out until you reach the city centre. How many attacks depends on what you do.

Well then I guess I won't be leaping...

I will attack the injured Osokan, then keep swimming.

I'll give Speed a try...that sounds sooo wrong...so, Speed swimming.

how many frames does it take for me to saber the door through?

Rah's gonna go full on at which ever hunter is most in the way of his escape.

Rade- 6.

Galder, you slash back behind you and drop your opponent, who lies floating in the river.

Then, you Speed... uh oh... disaster. You roll boxcars and then fail. A botch! Mis-coordinating, you swim directly into the wall at some speed. Temporarily dazing yourself, by the time you get yourself back into position to swim on, you are now in attack range of three Hunters and a Captain, and all four attack you now.

Are you going to dodge, Rah, or are you just going to go for it and take the punishment?

heck....what other exits are there?
