USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II, EPISODE I (DARK SIDE)- New Order

Started by Captain REX125 pages

Lightsaber not working, right?

Galder will power up with Blow then use Nerve Attack on an Osokan.

It is working so long as you are not underwater- but for fighting in water you get a one point impairment.

BTW, I want to rattle on through this quite quickly, because- and I know my absence did not help this- both Sides are rather behind right now; techncially I don't like the games to last more than six months each and it looks like we shall overrun as there is plenty to still do!

You all know the drill for combat now so... get to it! As you have clearly spotted you aren't going to beat this many of them whilst split. Good going; I was worried you would try and hang in there.

Rah, I say we break for it down there. We don't know what's on the other side of the wall, and I expect there'll be guards at the ships, if we get to them at all.

What do you think? We could try for the wall....

Well, I'm above water currently!

Strike with the lightsaber!

No need for you to Strike Hunters remember Galder? CofC takes you down to two frames already.

Scrambling along the sides, the first Hunter moves in to strike, Galder, but your blow is the faster. +6, like Rianna's before, is a solid hit, and 25 damage to your target as well.

You are now on the same frame as them, Galder; you may act again.

Rianna attacks the Osokan she damaged earlier with a standard lightsaber attack. Dodge and Riposte as defense.

I forgot you don't need to use Strike either, Rianna...

Your second blow hacks down the target.

Two Hunters are attacking Rianna, and two Rand. As asked, Rand uses Guard. Rianna dodge/ripostes. The Osokans strike, but none hit home ans Rianna and Rand fend off well. Rianna's counter-strike hits home, but only with one of her re-rolls. However, the re-roll is such a staggeringly good hit (a +11) it actually drops one of the targets that Rand used Throw on.

Several people due to act...

Rianna and Rand, that good kill from Rianna gives you a gap you can get through, if you continue your offesnive posutre. However, the action when you move through will leave you open to being attacked by all the centre-North Osokans.

Yup lets try for the wall

You need to defend yourself, Rah.

Okay, Tanic will spend 6 frames cutting the wall.

Galder swings again at the injured Osokan, spinning slightly out of the water for a moment for splashing back in, ducking underwater as the whips fly in... (Guard)

That's actually only five Osokans and a Captain...

Nume will move through, using Guard to defend once again.

Rianna, I advise that you attempt killing the other injured Osokan to make it down to four Osokans.

A +2 from you drops the Osokan, Galder. The next two move in against you... but you fend them off. More are moving in fast- your action?

Swimming downstream further! Away from the Osokans that have possible gotten behind me. Could Speed enhance how fast I swim?

eek! terribly sorry but i have been unable to get my internet working at home. (i'm at a cafe, right now) and i don't know whether i'm gonna get it working soon. so here's my attack plan

For every single attack on me, i use riposte (WITH the reflex thing. i have a reflex riposte si it doesn't take any frames)
if there are more than 2 attacks on me i use dodge force 2.
and when it's my turn to strike i do a saber attack on the nearest osokan.

i don't know if this is acceptable ush, but i'm doing my best to fix my connection at home.

Rah will Riposte and Dodge as necessary

No probs Dexx- I have a kinda separate situation ready for Takuan as he tries to escape solo, when you are ready to return- I assumed you would take the 'bugger off ASAP option' before they reached you.

Galder- trying to speed swim would be a difficulty 14 Force roll. You are trying to swim away- good call- let me know if you want to speed it as well.

Rah, you dodge one attacker... but the one you are riposting against hits you! The whip lashes along your forearm for five damage. Still, your Riposte hits home, and you kill the one you hit at first.

Tanic has so far managed four frames of cutting. Now, Rah, you are facing three Hunters and a Captain. Two of the Hunters are trying to move past you at Tanic; if you want to stop them, you must fend off all four. If not, they will attack Tanic, and he will have to cease cutting to be able to defend himself.

Tanic will keep cutting until he needs to defend himself. Then he'll dodge.

well...finally got through and fixed it. I'm back...and ready to be inserted in the fight 🙂
