Actually, according to the novel the hand was still holding the lightsaber when Anakin cut it off, and it landed on the floor of the office before Mace was thrown out the window. But that crap about "sold at an auction" is just that, crap...

Mr. Lucas, I must say that your Star Wars films are very good. They've helped me with some situations with my siblings, you know, acting better. But, I was wondering two things: 1) If you have so much money, why not help other people instead of buying more cars and mansions? 2) I hear that you believe all religions. How can this be true? George Lucas: I do have charitable interests. I donate several hundred dollars a year to good causes. We live in a free market system, which means I have the freedom to spend my money however I choose. I work hard for my money. I should be able to spend it in the ways I see fit. There is nothing wrong with having dozens of exotic foreign cars like the Lamborghini, the Ferrari or the Lotus. It is very acceptable to have numerous homes all over the world. I can’t spend my time worried about poor people. The main reason some in society are destitute is because they are lazy. There are plenty of jobs out there. We just have too many slackers who want a free ride. They won’t be getting one from me.
I’ve never said I believe in all religions. I tolerate other religions even though I know they are made up, false and fake. Christianity is the ONLY real religion. My religion has the only proper information about God. All other religions were created by whackos who had no idea what they are talking about. Take a look at Judaism, Islam, Hindu, Confucianism, Pangkra, Scientology, Mormonism and too many others to mention. They are all completely worthless as religions yet we must tolerate the ignorance of the followers of such trash.
( What a moron... Lucas isnt even a Christian to begin with, and Judaism is part of Christianity. And he's just being a jerk about the charities thing... what did Lucas refuse to sign his Tshirt when Mickey was a kid? 😛 )

(SuperShadow: My docs play on the History and Discovery channels all the time.) I was wondering if you were a cryptozoologist if so that is wicked. (SuperShadow: I am.) I hope to be a part time one someday. I know that none of this is related to Star Wars, but it is so interesting. I was wondering if you have led any exhibitions on Bigfoot or if you have seen one. (SuperShadow: I’ve led dozens of missions in North America, the Himalayas and other places looking for the elusive giant creature. Never have even glimpsed one.)

Hey SS. I have a question for ya. In Episode 7, I think Luke Skywalker got his hand sewn back on. Why didn't they do that for Anakin? (SuperShadow: This is a tragic plot error. Obviously, since it was established that Anakin ended up with cybernetic hands and arms, Lucas wanted to show this transmutation happen over time. Anakin didn’t just become Vader. He slowly evolved into the mechanical menace.) It was like right there and Anakin still didn't get it back! (SuperShadow: The Star Wars galaxy has the necessary technology to reattach severed arms and legs. For some reason, Lucas decided not to fix Anakin.) I mean it wasn't like it fell into nowhere like Luke's hand. How did they even find Luke's hand!? Please post this. (SuperShadow: Luke’s hand got stuck in the Bespin tunnel system and was subsequently retrieved by Imperial agents.)

I thought Anakin was 'the chosen one' because he did two things: destroyed the Sith and in doing so brought balance to the Force. (I am a Star Wars fan and am not trying to pick it apart, just understand.) If Darth Bane still exists (even though he is inactive and latent) to me the Sith are not destroyed (only in remission) and the balance in the Force is in place only as long as Darth Bane doesn't choose to use the dark side. (SuperShadow: That’s correct.) Didn't the Jedi think the Sith were destroyed a couple thousand years prior and isn't the final destruction of the Sith what made Anakin so remarkable? (SuperShadow: Technically speaking, Anakin did destroy the Sith with an assist from Luke. Darth Bane never regains full Sith status.)
If the Sith still exist (Sith in remission is still Sith just as cancer, etc.) and the balance in the Force is only temporary then what was all the big woo about 'the chosen one'? (SuperShadow: It’s all in perspective. Since nobody knows about Bane, for all intents and purposes the Sith are gone forever.) Why the big deal about the prophecy (supposedly ancient) concerning 'the chosen one' when he didn't really destroy the Sith and the balance didn't last longer than a couple of years? (SuperShadow: The balance did last. Bane is eventually killed in Episode 9.) It really trivializes the whole Anakin story for me. I hope I've expressed my fears so that you understand, Master SS. ...WTF? Now he's saying "Darth Bane" was around during the Star Wars films. Wasn't their...I dunno...a role of 2: Sith Lord (Palpatine) and Sith Apprentice (Vader) and didn't Anakin throw Palpatine down the reactor killing him and returned to the light destroying Vader thus bringing balance back to the force forever.
Yep... he threw Bane in on his- er Lucas's "rough Draft" of episode 3, with a lame Sith Council including a cloned Darth Maul, Tyrannus, "Xio Jade" Mara's Aunt (or Mother, who cares), Bane, and others...

You know the Episode 3 concept sketch of the Sith with four arms that evolves into General Grievous, can that be counted as Darth Rage because someone said it was? Please post. (SuperShadow: No, Rage did not have four arms. It is true that Rage had artificial arms and legs, but he was never conceptually drawn by Lucas’ artists.)
You're telling me that darth Rage who was supposedly going to be in Episode 2 or 3, and is this "tres cool" character, was never drawn in concept art?
