yeah... wonder how long till this one sues him
Hey Mr. Lucas, would you ever consider releasing a version of Episode 3 where it shows Anakin Skywalker slaying all the Jedi in the Jedi Temple? Like Cin Drallig and Nebar Foxis? May the Force be with you.
George Lucas: When we created the Revenge of the Sith DVD, we didn’t include every possible bonus footage or scene. We wanted to hold some things back for future releases. Eventually, we may release an Ultimate DVD set for Revenge of the Sith. This DVD could show all the scenes that didn’t make it into the film. You would be able to see new characters that didn’t make the cut of the final film. Most fans want to see the Nebar Foxis vs. Anakin duel in full. This duel goes on for several minutes. We’ll include this footage in some future release. You may not see all this until we release the classic and prequel trilogies on Blu-Ray and HD DVD. However, it will be many years before we release any Star Wars films on the new DVD formats. We are going to wait for those formats to mature in the market place. Ten years from now we probably will release a new version of the Star Wars saga on the advanced DVD formats.
Hahaha... guys we get to see Nebar Foxis! Finally... my dream come true! 😆
I had many potential titles for the old films. It was a difficult decision trying to narrow them down to just one. Originally, Episode 4 was titled The Dark Times. Another potential title for Episode 4 was The Ways of the Force. Episode 5 also had several alternate titles. One title was Dark Side Vengeance or War of the Empire. I also had some other titles for Episode 6. I almost used the title Rise of the Jedi or Birth of the Jedi.
I chose Revenge of the Sith as the title for Episode 3 because surveys taken at SuperShadow.com revealed that Revenge of the Sith was the overwhelmingly favorite title amongst the fans. I thought it worked well with Return of the Jedi so I went with it. Revenge of the Sith is probably the best title of any of the films.
That guy continually pisses me off. There are no freaking surveys on his website, and there never will be, because he would change the results. And again Mickey is wrong- he was about to call Episode 6 Revenge of the Jedi.
