Shaq/Kobe/T-Mac... predictions?

Iverson had 1 year as a good leader. The rest of the years, well, he was McGrady. I thought about using him myself as an example but I backed off because of 1 measly year. Also, Iverson is a whiny little ***** as well (sorry, I know you're a fan of his, but its true).

Link- I like to see players that I hate stay on teams that I hate. That way my hatred is built up towards one team rather than Kobe having to go to the Suns and me hating both LA and Phoenix. With that said, I hope they keep Shaq, Kobe, Fisher, and Fox. Medvendenko can leave because although not that great, he is a fairly likable guy. Hell, I want Jermaine to leave Indy so I can root for them again. JERMAINE TO LAKERS!

wait till next year baby...if iverson can stay focused (yea i'l admit he can be whiny) get along with his new coach and philly has a good draft he's gonna led them far next year....u guys keep sayin he's not a good leader but he plays hurt, he challenges his teammates, and he plays all out every game...how is that not leading

Iverson that one year was a phenominal leader. The rest have been more about offensive stats than wins. I really just keep bringing him up because of that game he sat out. That pissed me off more than anything else i've ever seen in basketball. He shouldn't have to "get along with his new coach" he should just shut his trap and listen to the coach....it might make him a better player and it might make his team perform better.

He's not a leader because of his actions off the court more than on the court. Playing all out every game is easy....Mark Madsen can do that. Going to the media and bitching about not starting, bitching about practice not being as important as a game, and his legal issues all make him a bad leader.

I'll let the legal issues slide because Jason Kidd and Kobe Bryant both have had legal issues and both are great leaders for their team.

on a completely different subject....how freaking awesome what that cheap shot by Malone!!! and then his comments afterwards...

"It's like baseball, if you gonna hit my man, you best believe something's coming your way sooner or later"

well that's not a direct quote, but that was the message he sent.

yea well all know malone is awesome he's the only laker i like and i actually wouldnt mind seeing him get a ring....i just wish he could try and get on on another team....playing all out is easy but alot of superstars dont do it (kobe, t-mac, for starters) people like mark madsen have to play all out to stay in the league superstars dont have to play all out most just turn it on when they need to

Man I hated Malone with a passion when he was on the Jazz. I like him a lot more in a Laker uniform. But I only hated him because he was everything I like in a basketball player, just on the worst team imagineable.

I love old school guys that are tough as snot and can hit the 15-20ft jumper. The mid range jumper is a dying art form.

I've never really liked Malone. Its impossible to hate Stockton, but Malone sick

impossible to hate stockton? i know people who hate stockton i'm not one of them i loved watchin him and malone and there pick and rolls but there are people who thought stockton and thought he was just as dirty as malone

Stockton was awesome. My mom loves his shorts. And I think he's a great leader for his team. And damn could white boy pass the ball.

Stockton played hard, I see it as a plus but thats the only thing anybody could hold against him. Malone played with elbows, thats more dirty than a hard screen by Stock. Also, Malone is known for talking shit while Stockton was very low key. He also played with fundamentals like the good ole days. Not that nobody actually disliked him, but there really was no reason too if they did other than his team beat theirs.

Malone talked shit because he could. Who was going to do something to him?

and the elbows are old school. Now adays you got idiots like Devon George and Slava Medvedenko reaching in and playing out of control. A couple sharp elbows to the face will teach you a life long lesson.

isnt a tim duncan a free agent next year?... i think he is..... i think he will stay a spur...i cant picture him in a different uniform plus the spurs got all that young talent..there really isnt a reason for him to leave

plus alot of those elbows had meaning to them...isiah thomas made sure he lit up stockton coz stock was picked over him for the 1st dream team so for isaih goin out of his way to get like 40 pts (i think it was in the 40s) the next time the pistons played the jazz isiah got 36 stitches above his eye from a malone elbow

If you were to put Jason Kidd and T-Mac on the same team they wouldn't be truly effective unless they had some size in the middle. Not so much for offense, but for defense. Throw in a Theo Ratliff or a Ben Wallace type of big man, and you've basically got Jordan's Bulls team with 2 stars and a defensive hustler. That most certainly would give you a shot at the title.

IF Alonzo Mourning didnt get sick, and was still able to play, New Jersey would have been a far better team. even without McGrady. with McGrady..hahaha. i believe the Detroit series would have ended differently. though, Zo did get sick, and i was sad 🙁 and McGrady isnt going to New Jersey, so im even sadder cry

Ain't that the truth. i love my mid-range game, and dont see many others with one.(yes, i play basketball quite often)

I loved Stockton, only disliked Malone a little(hate him now), but the person i hated most was Jeff Hornaceck. man that guy pissed me off, and i dont even remember why.

I value my 8-15 foot jumper more than any other shot but not many people in the pros like it for some reason.

good ol hornececk good shooter...people from the pros prolby dont use it as much coz they know it wont get them on sportcenter....i'd rather light it up from outside but a mid range game is much more consistent i'll use it if i cant post up coz the dude is bigger than me but 3s (if your on) and dunks are always funner

I can't dunk yet at 5'8"-5'9" but I'm close and next year I start high jump so maybe then. WOO HOO! My games pretty decent without being able to dunk anyway.

well u dont need to dunk to have game i'm not sayin that i mean look at j.j redick he's one of the best players and college and he cant dunk....plus i know people who are athletic enough to dunk but cant shoot with a lick....if u want more lift on your veritcal for high jumpin or for basketball i would suggest jump roping that really helps

i cant dunk either at 5'10''. i can usually hit a few threes, but its not a consistent part of my game. im good at posting up against a player an inch or two taller than me(and shorter), and my 7-18 foot jumpshot is always on the money(i consider anything inside 7ft basically a long layup or a Mikan shot.)

so this is how it looks so far...

Free Agents-

Duncan-theres no reason why he should leave the spurs with all that yourng talent
Rasheed-Wild Card but i see him resigning as a Piston
Malone-my guess is he's gonna stay a laker win or lose
Payton-retire
Kobe-wants Phil gone but Shaq wants Phil there... i think lakers would rather have shaq so Kobe will be in Memphis reunited with Jerry West
Mcgrady-another Wild card we all know about the rumors to the suns but that dont mean its gonna happen

well those are my offseason predictions
