for me rap has gone too much into the PIMP style of lyrics... i enjoy some songs, but its a shame when almost everysong has the same women depicted as a low-down buck machines. but i always give a rap CD a listen in my car. i'm listening to the Luda, J-Z, Em, 50, Twista, and kenya west...withsome oldschool brothas pickin' up the gangsta lyrics..EzE, NWA...AND DEATH ROWWW

50 Cent, D12, Obie Trice, Ludacris, Ja Rule, Chingy and sadly, Eminem all SUCK. They're ruining hip hop for everyone.

Mobb Deep, Jedi Mind Tricks, The Pharcyde, Ice Cube, Big L and Cannibal Ox are where its at. I'm no expert, but I know quality when I hear it.
