You really annoy me. Pathetic; that's how i find you. The bible is a incredible piece of work made by many artists, used as a historical source with surprising accuracy. Around two billion people base their lives on it. Harry Potter doesn't have that following. It has stories of ordinary people living in a world where it seemed that God had a personal Vendetta to Kick Them In The Butt. It has stories of Romances transcending all classes. Amusing little bits where pompous bureaucrats are built up, and smashed. It is not a pathetic piece, only a truly brazen twit would say that.

So I annoy you, well I couldnt care less. You know you are just one throwing in arguments of feeble content without bother to read all the arguments omade by other people .
The bible used as an historical source well.things can be verified due to the fact that stories were based on actual events, persons and places. guess that was a part of covering those sources of yours . Many of the stories of the bible have been "borrowed" from other stories and mythologies so talk about pathetic way of collecting stories. And comparing the bible to that of Harry Potter just show who is pathetic. And I find many followers of the bible as a sorry bunch of hypocritical narrow minded fools.

The Bible is a good book and people fear it. Thats good, because they have their laws, the arent allowed to kill or steal. And i believe some parts of the Bible even happened in some form. I just dont believe there's a god, but people believed that and they coulnt explain so many things. for example how the human came into being and what the earth is. so they invented god and they believed in him, because they were scared of something that is that powerful and that could control them. But of course God was good and kept them alive. But there was an evil side, too. People who killed where probably obsessed by satan.
This is just an easy explanation of the old time's people. And so many people believe in it, today...

But i do respect the followers of the Bible and they are good and nice people. But i just can't and don't want to believe in it.

Ah yeah and the meaning of life? Well there is actually no meaning, just live your life as you want to, it's you only life you have and try to make other people and yourself happy.

So, some people may hate me now... 😕
But please respect my opinion as i respect believers.
Ah yeah and i think being part of god's plan must be a great feeling... 😄

I think my original answer was that the meaning of life, for me, was to live it. I'd rather not believe that my sole reason for existence is to die. That makes the years I actually live seem pointless. So, the meaning is to live, and the requirement is to procreate, then the inevitability is death. IMO anyway 😄

first it is 2 billion not 3, and secondly I said many of the followers and many doesnt mean everybody.

Many means most, so you might as well say that the majority of followers are.

I'd just like to say one thing, I don't know Finti all that well, but what I do know of him completely throws the above comment out of the window. He's not the type to pounce on a petty mistake just to suit his own ends.

I just show my true expression towards a group of people and if they feel offended by it so be it. And I honostly feel that many followers of the bible are narrow minded fools, if you think that is ignorant good for you, but it is my experience with followers of that book that makes me come with statements like this. It is truley based on experience
