Erin closedher book. She decided she had read enough. "I don't have a date, that's all."
Erin looked across the grounds for her only other friend at the time: Sarah Chang.
The Ravenclaw didn't know what to talk about with Renee, so she picked a leaf and started picking at it, a bit bored. They did not have classes today, and it was also a Hogsmead day.
"Do you want to go to hogsmead with me? It's a bit boring today, and today is a Hogsmead day."
Cho and Vlad were outside of Hogsmead as Vlad said "Ahhh...Cho do you want to go to the Yule Ball with me?" asked Vlad blushing. Vlad so Chos a sight of relief "Yes efcours....I have to go to do some homework I will see you tommorow" Vlad saw night striked and he knew Malfoy was already caught he heard what two girls were saying and he came up to them "Well since Im harrys older brother Ill try to persuade him to go to the Yule Ball with you Erin....Thought Im not sure because I think he already asked Hermonie out..." said Vlad.
But she couldn't hide this fact from Renee. Renee didn't say anything about it, though.
"I could ask him for you, if you want," Renee said, as they turned into the main street of Hogsmead. Erin nodded silently, still blushing.
"Hey, look, there they are now!", Renee said exitedly, and pointed at three people coming down the street towards them.
"Do you want me to ask him or not?"
Erin clearly didn't know what to say.
But before Erin could answer, Vlad Potter was standing in front of them.
"Well scince I'm Harrys older brother I'll try and persuade him to go with you, Erin... But I'm not sure because I think he already asked Hermione out", Vlad offered.
Renee smiled at him. "I don't think he asked Hermione out, because she told me she's going with Seamus Finnigan. And I don't think Harry needs persuading, look...", Renee pointed at Harry who was coming towards them.
"Hi Vlad, hi Erin,"he said, ignoring Renee. "Look, Erin. I was wondering...I mean, it's ok if you don't..You know how the balls coming up...Uh...see...", he stuttered for a while, then Renee said: "I think Erin would love to go to the ball with you."
Harry grinned and so did Erin, although she looked like she was wondering how it had possibly come this far.
"Cool", Harry said. "And how about you and me go to the Three Broomsticks, Erin?"
And with that, Erin and Harry walked away. Ron looked at Renee.
"How about joining them?", he asked. Renee accepted gladly. They walked away, leaving Vlad alone.
When Jules saw Eddie leaving the library, she picked up her stuff and followed him. She had never really spoken to him, but he seemed nice and he always knew stuff in class. She wondered if he was going to the ball. She knew Van was going with Sarah, no doubt about that one. She ran to catch up with him. "Hey Eddie, slow down!" She walked next to him. "Watcha doing?" She aksed him.
"Nothing right now. You?"
Well, I'm about to go to Hogsmead...Ya want to go with me?" She smiled.
Damn Im all alone... thought Vlad as he saw Van he came up to him and said "So I bet your coming with Sarah to the ball right? Im going with Cho!! Ya!!! Anywaaay lets go have some practice with our new broomsticks!" said Vlad as he went up to the dormitory got his firebolt 3001 with a golden handle and polished Neatly on the left side it was carves which said "Seeker" Vlad waited everybody on the quidditch field. he went on his Firebolt and flew on it it was the fastest thing he seen It took him like 15 minutes to get used! Nope with this broom Gryffindors not loosing! Thought Vlad as he saw other players coming to the quidditch field.
Harry was walking with Ron when he spotted Erin in Hogsmeade. He smiled... He had heard rumors that she liked him. He kinda liked her too. She was really sweet. He said "Be right back," to Ron and ran off to catch Erin and her friend. "Hey," he said once he was next to her. "Look, I know that this is kind of a spur-of-the-moment thing, and well... you can think about it if you want...But...uh... will you go to the ball with me?" Harry knew he was blushing like crazy. He waited for her answer.
