Harry was walking with Ron when he spotted Erin in Hogsmeade. He smiled... He had heard rumors that she liked him. He kinda liked her too. She was really sweet. He said "Be right back," to Ron and ran off to catch Erin and her friend. "Hey," he said once he was next to her. Renee looked up as Eddie and Jules came in, then immediately returned to her conversation with Ron. She was glad that he already knew her story, so that she didn't have to spend half an hour explaining that Lupin wasn't her real father. Ron looked interestedly at Harry and Erin, who were sitting a few tables away, half hidden in the corner.
"I had no idea they liked eachother that much!", Ron said. Suddenly he took her hand, but before he could do anything else, who should come in but Lupin. And far from ignoring her, he came straight to Renee's and Ron's table.
"Oh, no...", Renee muttered. Lupin smiled down at them.
"Renee, can I have a word?"
"Sure, whatever", Renee said, and slowly got up from the table, and followed Lupin to a corner where noone was sitting.
"Look, I've just figured that the ball is on full moon", he said. Renee was horrified.
"But-But-"
"You can go anyway, but it'll be risky. See, Professor Snape has just found a new mixture that he thinks might delay you - and me - from becoming werewolves this month. But we will again next minth, and then even the Wolvesbane potion won't help us. I was just wondering if this is a risk you want to take."
Renee nodded immediately.
Erin blushed like crazy. Just a day ago, she was a nobody. And now look at her! She had friends and a date.
"I would love to go, Harry," She stammered.
The two sat talking. "So, how's Quidditch? I know you love to play...." She said, sipping her butterbear. All she could think of was the Ball and Harry and her new friends.
Erin couldn't help but look over at Renee. It was as if the two girls shared a bound; they were both cheering inside and knew that the other was cheering too.
Erin caught Renee's eye and grinned, winking. If not for Renee, she would be dateless. If not for Sarah, she very well may be friendless. This was the best time in her life.
Harry chatted about Quidditch. Erin found him fasinating, utterly charming. She sat gazing at him. When he finished talking, she asked him something.
"would you like to go look at the shops? You know, browse and maybe chat a bit?"
After the practice Vlad put his Firebolt 3001 back and was walking outside as Lupin came out of the castle and told him something "Vlad... Dumbeledore told me you a future Auror so anyway the problem is that the Ball is on Full Moon... Snape created a mixture that will prevent Reene from going into a Werewolf but well Im not sure so could you look out for her? Please??" "Yes efcours Proffesor it will be my pleasure" replied Vlad "Your just like your dad Vlad.... Only some things are from your mother but the rest is your fathers.. I mean Harrys kind of balanced a little like his mother and a little like James.." said Lupin "Proffesor this is the 10th time you say this" grinned Harry as he said goodbye and started walking itnto the Library.
He saw Cho with a wand and her rat. She was having trouble so Vlad came over and said "Do you need help??" Cho nodded and said "I cant turn this rat into something else like a bottle or something!" "Ok look you need to focus on the thing you want it to turn into all its details... Just thing about say this pencil and point the wand at the rat..." said Vlad as Cho tried it and it worked. Cho and Vlad talked alot and Cho was starting to be really attracted to him so did Vlad to Cho.
Harry and his date, Erin, walked into a new jewelery shop. Erin wanted to buy something for Renee and Sarah. A friendship gift. All the items were magical.
She decided to get Renee a necklace; a pretty little thing with a cresent moon shape. The chain was thin and silver, matching the moon. The moon was magical, however; it changed accourding to the real moon, so when it was full moon, the moon on the necklace would change to a full moon.
Erin picked out something differwent for Sarah; it was a charm braclet.
It had a few quaffles on it, since Sarah was a chaser. It also had snitches, which flapped its wings occasionally. The last thing it has was her name, which shimmered like water.
Erin purchased the two items, them Harry led the way out.
