USH'S MATRIX GAME FIFTH ASSIGNMENT (COMBAT PATH)- 'Payback'

Thank you very much.
*Dives for cover*

Crates and machinery for cover.

Ares dives behind cover, and fires another three bursts, two on one goon and one on another.

Actually, you know, I am probably better off splitting that into two seperate attacks of yours, Ares. As Coppertop Killer at that level gives you one frame attacks (legal in Matrix but not in Star Wars) you get a lot more freedom to operate. So that is one attack with two bursts for one frame, and another with one burst, also for one frame, at +1 to hit and evens to hit. Unsurprisingly, you kill them both. As they are seperate attacks you don't get the penalty for attacking more than one target, so you can be more economical with your ammo usage as you were just then.

Ok, bad guys fire again. Two attacks on all except San, who gets one.

Oooh, Willow Step pays off for cloud... as dpes Burn's cover!

The Goons have also moved into cover behind various industrial knick-knacks now, as they re-load.

Well, Ares can shoot again, and meanwhile, the rest of you have reached the courtyard.

BTW, is there anything else anyone wants to be doing at this point? So that no-one later on says 'but I thought I/someone else was doing x/y....'

Could I use flying weapon to get over to them, while taking out one of the guards?

If not I'll just use willow step again.

Ares fires two bursts at another goon behind a large crate, the bullets punching through the corners of the goon's cover.

Active dodge for one attack, and hope I get lucky for the other.

Mors cringes as the bullet skims his arm, but says nothing as he moves forwards towards the courtyard, unleashing four bursts from his Glock 18, two per attacker.

My apologies, Mors. That will add a frame onto your movement, of course. You roll +1 and... hmm... -11! The -11 is a miss, the +1 is a 13 all things considered, and Coppertop Killer makes that JUST a kill.

Spike, you can flying weapon from three frames out, if you wish. But no need for a Willow Step right now- they aren;t firing again until frame 1!

Ares rolls -3, but that's still a kill!

Plenty of time for all of you...

I'll take 2 bursts at 2 guards.

San will move into cover behind a crate, and fire 2 bursts at one of the guards that Burn just shot at.

Willow Step for defense.

Sorry, Burn, not quite clear there... two or four bursts in total?

San, a rather impressive +6 is a kill!

4

Another -11 there- sorry, not sure where these are coming from!- but the second attack is a solid kill.

Ares fires two bursts again from cover at a goon.

*Smacks Gun*
Dammit!

Evens, a kill, next...

No next, I see! Ok, let's check the situation...

As we can see, you guys still have a considerable frame advantage!

(Well, I say we take advantage of said frame advantage!)

Ares rolls from cover, cartwheeling on one hand, firing his Ingrams with the other, firing his remaining bursts split between two mooks.

(I think I have four bursts left, I could be wrong...)

That sounds right. +1 and =2... the -2 is still a kill I think!
Two kills in two frames. Leaves only one man left.

Some one kill him please!
Stupid framed out-ness

Mors fires three bursts at the remaining goon.
