(With Govski)
As they hurried along, Gundark reached out with the Force. It was alive with activity; the presence of her fellow Jedi, the tension amongst Govski's team and something else she couldn't quite identify. "Do you have any idea of the location of the shield generator in there ?" she asked Govski.
(Mah, while you would find no trace of Argentis you could have helped Verlaine and the rest work out how Faylar is beating the blockade. But maybe it is as well that you have gone with the others)
"GeneratorS," stresses Govski. "Faylar strikes me as the paranoid kind. He has back-up after back-up. From what we can tell, ALL the important equipment is inside the central control complex, where Faylar has taken refuge." Govksi suddenly gestures, and his team come to a halt.
"Don't move," he says. "Guards are moving on the walls."
Govski motions you guys onwards soon afterwards, and before long yopu are at the walls.
Govski pokes his gun in the air just in front of the wall, and you see the tell-tale shimmer of a force-field.
"The field is virtually hugging the wall," says Govski. "Every metre that Faylar extends it outwards will add kilometres onto its overall length, and they haven;t the power to sustain that. Power is their biggest problem.
"Anyway, now you are here, what do you plan to do?"
MOD NOTE: Good question. She enjoys leading you kids so much as well!
Anyway, I put these NPCs in exactly for circumstances like this...
"How hard will it be to get over those walls?" asks Arleth.
"You couldn't climb them," says Govski. "You'd be climbing through the force-field all the way, which is hard enough, and someone is bound to see you on the way up.
Arleth looks at the sheer walls, working out how high he could possibly jump.
"If ONE of us could get up there unseen he could drop a line for the rest of us," he says. "But I don't think any of us can jump THAT high."
(He's right; it's roughly twice as high as Gundy can jump)
