USH'S GAME EPISODE II- 'REVENGE'. Light Side Area

Started by Ushgarak76 pages

Right now, yerss, you are in the lift, Krisha having escorted you there from her car. She's radioing to Faylar about your arrival.

I'll need to know what that thing is, yerss, or it's not there...

Having made their way back to the spaceport, Gundark and mah crept up behind some of the stacked crates waiting for transport to the palace. "Quickly - lets get one of these ends open and get those droids out. We'll hide them under some of that flex netting over there."

"It was just after I left Geonasis after coming from Coruscant. I returned to Coruscant and went for a bite at Dex's Diner and then went to go buy upgrades for my Geonasian starfighter. I was confronted by a gang that had those energy bubble Gungan shields, so I couldn't shoot at them. I ignited my lightsaber and started chopping them in half. This Kuylen character saw me and took me to his office. I joined him and left just before he went to a planet called Avalar. I see that my belief that he had bad intentions was correct, according to your missions." Xeth finished, and then said "Let's go find out where your Yerssot is. We should probably follow the bullet holes."

As the three men follow the path Lance asks more questions.

"So Kuylen pulled you into his office to offer you a spot on a mission to Avalar?"

"Yeah, but I never went to Avalar. He gave the job to another guy. His name was...uh...Galder Welptet. He was the guy that killed my Master and his new apprentice on Hoth. That's why I left the Temple." They continue to follow the bullet holes and burn marks.

(need to have a window or somesort, have that thingie I made using my belt, from the DS thread, plan to throw it out of the window to make others clear where I am, long shot, but something)

(Where did you get that story of Gald killing a master on Hoth??? I made that up for my character.)

Mah helps Gundark and they manage to open the crate.

(Small problem with that story of yours, Bespin- Kuylen was missing presumed dead for two years before he went to Avalar and was nowhere near Coruscant at the time.

Also, if you met him after he turned evil and refused him or tried to leave he would have killed you... but I doubt he would have approcahed you anyway because you aren't evil.

You having known Kuylen either as a a freelance operator (probably in Hutt space) or even in his old days as a Jedi is fine, but that story will have to be altered a tad)

-

Yerss, I understand, though you won't be going near any external windows. The lift opens into a large internal area consisiting of many levels of balconies around an open area; there is a great deal of activity going on. Battle droids are starting to patrol the premises.

-

Lance- you'll be amazed how much Hoth is coming up in people's backgrounds...

I can't really comment on your backstories, of course, so if you guys want to sort this out if there is a problem? Talk to Rex as well.

-

And finally, Mah and Gundy, inside the crate is a rack of tightly pressed together battledroids, hunched up and de-activated. But in those racks they are near impossible to remove without machinery. You can just about fit inside, you think...

"Someone coming," says Ithrorn, hurriedly.

Gundark crawled into the crate, compressed between mah's elbow and the head of a battle droid. She grinned at mah. "The mission is certainly getting interesting."

''Mmm, if by interesting you mean more dangerous. Now lets see what happens.''

"Lots of nice droids, expacting visitors?
And will you mind explaining me what it was again that I needed to do here?"

"We're always expecting visitors," says Krisha. "And you are here to meet Faylar. He'll be up top."

There are some five levels to this place, yerss, accessible by narrow stairswyas. Krisha leads you up them, allowed through the considerable amounts of automated security- not just droids, but auto-sentrys and the like as well.

-

Gundark and Mah, Ithrorn hurriedly closes the crate on top of you, and you hear someone walk by.

"Hey! What are you doing here?"

"I'm with Faylar's security," says Ithrorn. "I'm just checking out these shipments."

"You don't look like one of Faylar's men!"

"Of course I look like one of Faylar's men."

"Yes... of course you look like one!"

"There's no problem here, you can get back to work."

"I'll get back to work..."

"You and I have similar stories, Xeth. My master was also killed on Hoth and by the man named Galder. But I for one never left the Order. I decided to train harder and harder. Then they promoted me to Jedi Knight. Did you ever complete the trials?" Lance says as they get closer to the end of the burn marks.

"I love what he did to this place... I take you have droiddekas too?"
Yerssot followed Krisha upstairs, searching for a window...

(how strong is Krisha in using the force?)
(are droids capable of being subjected to mind tricks?)

"Damn right we do..." says Krisha.

Krisha is a little worse than a standard Fallen (equivalent to Adventurer) template except for her sabotage skills which are better. Hence she is slightly worse at fighting and in the force than you are, yerss, but better in the force than, say, Lance.

Droids ARE immune, yes.

"I'm sure your boss has some interesting things to say to me... do we need to make an appointment?"

"Oh, he will make room for YOU," says Krisha.

You are at the top level of the base (though there is a landing platofrm on the roof). This is Faylar's centre of operations. There is an enormous computerised tactical map covering one wall, and the guards on this level are all droidekas. The unmistakble arrogant looking man that is Faylar is with a group of sycophants underneath the tactical map looking up.

"Five hundred units on each side, I think, until we can actiavte the rest," he is saying.

(Ush how far are we away till the end of the wreckage and havok?)

(Ooh, sorry, I wasn't moving you guys on while you were talking. There is also a risk of running to the rather defunct DS thread at this point).

The chase seems to have veered off the roads at one point and into an alleyway. The firing at this point stopped and ther eis no IMMEDIATE indication of where the chase went from there...
