USH'S GAME EPISODE II- 'REVENGE'. Light Side Area

Lance nods a goodbye to his fellow Jedi then turns and follows Master Kiel.

Ok, Lance, when you return to the space port, you also encounter the commotion outside as reports of another fight in the city come through.

"Sounds like our 'friends'," says Kiel. "Let's check it out."

Shots are ringing out and thudding against the buildings and they stray near the Hutt's ship. Xeth looks around and then slinks off to go see what's going on.

(Firing is actually finished by now, guys. Though by the look of things it might start again soon)

Lance gets ready for a fight, just in case.

Lance, you and Kiel soon find the first part of the devastation, to whit a main road blocked with crashes speeders. There is evidence of a lot of shooting.

Apparently there was a speeder chase down here and the chaser was firing indiscriminately.

"So, It must be our 'friends' that were here. They always leave a path of destruction."

Kiel is asking questions about who was chasing who. It started from a nearby diner. Apparently a woman wearing black led out a man to her speeder, and shot off towards the apalce. Soon afterwards a man armed with dozens of guards ran out and gave chase.

Lance, the man with the guns is Galder (Rex) and the person being led out is yerssot, to judge by the descriptions.

Xeth reaches the scene, hoisting his pistol from its holster just in case. Crashed speeders, bullet holes, and burn marks leave evidence that there has been a battle. He looks up and sees two of the Jedi investigating.

A perfect excuse for you guys to meet.

MOD NOTE: My apologies. The explosion I made reference to a few posts back has NOT happened. This is a result of some confusion in current events in the Dark Side thread. Expect some more fireworks soon but there has been no sudden large explosion.

Xeth walks towards the Jedi. "Hello there," he says. "What brings a Jedi to Damagran? It's not Republic territory ya know."

Lance looks up from his investigating and sees the Geonosian. He notices him as the same one that he had seen with Shareth the Hutt. The one with the force on his side.

MEANWHILE...

You folks mignt be very pleased to know that yerssot has, by now, affected his own escape from the Dark Siders, which I doubt queeq will ever let Rex live down.

As it is, he is still in as much trouble as he ever was. But as the Dark Side players have no more right to know where he is than you guys, the default is that he returns to playing in THIS section, and you guys will just have to not conveniently act on what he posts about here!

Yerssot, Krisha speeds you down the long tunnel which heads towards the palace.

"A shame your friend isn't stupid enough to follow us down here," she says. "HE would have had an unpleasant welcome."

The entrance is just coming up.

"You seem suspicious about me. I've just gotten here with Shareth. I have been sent by the Prime Minister of Taloraan to investigate the missing shipments of battle droids and tracked down Shareth. I'm impersonating her shipping director. I'm Xeth Tam, impersonating Vett Qa." Xeth holds out his hand. "What brings you here? And how's Master Yoda and Master Windu?"

Lance just realizes the irony of the situation. As he was thinking the Geonosian in front of him was a potential enemy.

But he then holds out his hand and grabs hold of Xeth's then shakes it. After the handshake, Lance backs up and gives a curt bow to the fellow Jedi Knight.

"Master Yoda is as fine as ever. And my uncle, I mean Master Windu is just fine too."

Lance still felt a little suspicious, but he probed the mind of the other force-user and felt only good intentions.

"Well now..." says Kiel. "A friendly face with a position inside the Hutt's bodyguard? Sometimes I think the Force likes to play with us all..."

He offers his hand as well. "I am Master Kiel. It seems destiny has broight us all together here."

"I can assure you, I'm against whoever your against. And I've heard about those Dark Jedi that had made deals with Faylar. One of them killed my Master awhile ago," says Xeth. "I'm...what do ya call it...a Freelancer Jedi Knight. I work for others, but only good. And I'm still an active Knight, as you can tell."

"Amazing, isn't it?" says Kiel. "You are here following droids shipments. Lance here is searching for a wayward Jedi. I am trying to recover my captive Padawan. And it all leads us to the same thing. This planet, and these Dark Jedi."

"Yes, quite a coincidence isn't it. Deus vult." Xeth looks around. "So, I take the Dark Jedi went through here? Asks witnesses which way they went."

(Deus vult means "God wills it." It was a saying of the Crusaders. So let's just say it means "The Force wills it."😉
