USH'S GAME EPISODE II- 'REVENGE'. Light Side Area

"We have an urgent appointment with Faylar," Gundark attempted.

"I don't need to have the Force to know you are lying," says Balek. "Try again."

-

"Uhhh," says the droid. "I don't think Faylar is available right now."

"Err, where are you going?" asks the OTHER droid. Stupid bloody things...

Gundark gave it another try. "Faylar has requested you to escort us directly to him. I don't think you should keep him waiting."

Xeth watches Lance go into the pub. Then he spots battle droids marching along the walls to the palace. He decides he will start his distraction. He walks up to the droids, as calm as possible. "I'm supposed to be seeing a man named Faylar, if you don't mind. Could you tell me how to get to him?"

(How many battle droids should be in that group Ush?)

"Errr... I don't have any orders of that nature," says the droid.

"Where are you going?" chimes the first one. Like talking to a brick wall, Gundy.

-

Xeth, there are very few droids outside the palace so only ten but I think you should note that I don't think the plan was for you to distract anyone; could you consult with Lance?

"I assure you Balek, I am just siting here enjoying my blue ale while watching the vid screens."

(OOC: Xeth shouldn't be distracting anyone. It is supposed to be Ithrorn who does it so me and Xeth can get in there and back eachother up.)

Thought so.

"Yeah, here in the middle of a war to waste time," says Balek. "Very Jedi like. You people really aren't good liars, are you? Kuylen's people are no better."

"Why? What did they say?" Lance asks, just trying to get a straight answer out of the bounty hunter.

"That they weren't Dark Jedi and hadn't heard of Kuylen, for a start. One of them gets on well with your friend Argentis, though."

"Hmm. Very stupid of them. Can you tell me when and where you last saw them?"

"If I was even vaguely inclined to," says Balek, ordering a drink. "The girl who was talking to Argentis wanted into the palace, though. It was all very sweet." Balek pulls out the thing he took from the crime scene this morning, which is a DNA sensor. "By the look of it, one of them is already inside."

"You picked up some of their DNA from the crime scene?"

"They left none. But it is already calibrated to them."

"Ah, that explains much." Lance says.

"Now if you'll excuse me I have appointments elsewhere." said Lance as he starts to stand up from the stool at the bar. He then tosses a few credits on to the counter to pay for the drink.

Lance begins to walk out of the pub.

You leave Balek with his drink.

So, where now?

Lance walks back out into the street and does a quick search for Xeth.

He sees him just about where he left him. He then walks up to Xeth and begins to give him the news he has just recieved.

"It appears that our Dark-Jedi friends are starting to get into that palace. Now we must double our searches for one of those damned doors."

Lance then walks about looking and asking locals about the doors. He gets nothing but 'I don't knows' from everybody.

There is someone that may know what I'm talking about. Lance thinks to himself.

He sees a man dressed in what looks to be an outfit someone working in a palace might wear.

Lance addresses the man. "Good day good sir. Can you be of service?"

"I doubt it," says the man, unpleasantly.

Not surprisingly, Gundark found her patience to be wearing thin. "I'm going to see Faylar. I have an appointment." The rest of this conversation is going to be with a lightsabre... she thought.

Mah got mentally ready for a confrontation, which seemed likely with these droids.

"Um..." says the droid, as it runs that through its head. "Faylar has no appointments right now."

"Umm... where are you going?" asks the OTHER droid, again.

It must be said, this is not looking like a good place for a fight. There are a lot of people around.

However, it can't be THAT difficult to think of a way around two battle droids... can it?
