can I sense them at any point?

"Well sir, let's try this any way. I am looking for a certain type of entrance into that palace right there. One that is outside the walls and appears out of the ground. If you can tell me where they are it would be greatly appreciated." Lance says with a hint of the Force mind control in his words.

" Hey gundy don't go in alone....I will follow you.. we may need some negotion with a lightsaber"

Yerssot- I'd say you can sense the general approach of Gundy, yes.

Lance- problem is, this man is too scared to say anything. Faylar's men kill those who compromise the security of the palace.

Lance uses the force to try and calm the man down.

"Calm down my friend."

"I AM calm," insists the man, uncertainly.

"No you are not. I sense you are nervous. What is it you are nervous about?"

"A man has a lot to be nervous about in this city," he says. "Especially when talking to your sort."

"Well I can see this isn't going to get us anywhere, so thank you for your time."

Lance walks away feeling let down.

They really don't like Jedi here, Lance.

Balek is watching you again, from across the street.

Lance notices Balek staring at him with a look on his face.

Lance tries to ignore the man as he walks back towards the other Jedi.

Balek is smiling, slightly. That's always quite nasty, though, as he has a grim face.

It's starting to grow dark, Lance,. Earlier than normal because the force field around the city dims the light slightly. The rain is also getting harder.

Lance finishes his walk to Xeth.

"So fellow friend. What should we do now?"

"Well, I'm going to try to get these battle droids to let us in. They are stupid after all," Xeth says, and walks to the battle droids.

"Hello there. Don't you think you should be heading back into the palace? The rain's pouring pretty hard, might rust your circuits. Ya see, I know some things about battle droids. They do have some spots where water can leak into their mechanical workings, and that would cause you to end your work right here and now. Plus, your owner, this...Faylar person, probably needs some protection right now, don't ya think?"

He counts the battle droids, and finds that there are ten. Ten bumbling, idiotic battle droids...

(They are pretty waterproof)

"Um... you aren't allowed in the palace," says the lead droid.

"Now what makes you think that? Besides, I work for Shareth, the Hutt who could control you more than Faylar can. She could also deactivate you." Xeth says this with a hint of frustration, but he remains calm.

"That does not compute... you are not allowed in the palace," repeats the droid.

They are too stupid to persuade, really.

"I do not want into the palace, you stupid droid. Thank you for your time." Xeth walks away and mutters "Dumbass droid." He looks to Lance. "So, I think we should begin searching again, since those droids don't have anything close to even an artificial intelligence brain."

Ithrorn comes over the commlink.

"I'm in place," he says. I'm going to attack the palace defences at the far side of where Kiel is. With any luck they will think Kiel is a distraction for us trying to get in where *I* am attacking, and their men will be drawn off that way.

"How goes your search for a way in?"

"Not too well, I'm afraid. The battle droids are too stupid and the civilians are scared silly of us. We haven't had much success in looking."
