The noise of firepower is tremendous.
Gundy and Phinney, who were less far ahead, can quickly get to safety. Xeth, you are pushing it a bit but you can get back in time.
But it is impossible to cover Lance for as long as you need; there are simply too many droids for you to present yourself as a target and not have all your attention on your sabre.
Lance, you are caught out. A droideka is firing directly on your angle just as you were fending off some battledroid shots. You have to throw yourself to the ground to avoid being blasted apart.
Another droideka rolls out between you and the others, and is unfolding now. A missed shot from a battledroid thuds into a crate near the others, which then explodes rather magnificently (causing you to have to throw yourself clear, Xeth)
An entire column of crates falls with a noise audible even over the gunshots and makes transit in that direction almost impossible.
At this point, Lance, you have an army of droids backed by a few droids in front of you and an unfolidng droideka behind and the route to your friends looking VERY tenuous indeed. There are some small side 'alleyways', caused by small gaps between the crates, at the sides that look attractive right now.

Yerss, you all hear the noise of that great crashing. Before you can react, in the corridor in front of you six battle droids round the corner.
"You're beginning to show signs of agression, master"
Yerssot smiled...
The knight jumped up using the force and kept his face forward, stomach turned down. Ready to deflect the shots if the standing droid was going to shoot, with his other hand he pushed the stunned battledroids down, to make sure they stayed down. When he landed, he landed between the stunned droids, he went down his knees and with one quick move he cut the droids in two. Quickly after that he went in a defensive stance against the remaining droid.
Xeth throws himself to the ground and quickly makes his way to Gundy and the others, sticking low to the ground. He calls his sonic blaster back to his hand and aims for the unfolding droideka. He fires off a shot and then fires more at the battle droids. He then scampers up and calls his lightsaber back to his hand.
(the stuff I was holding would probably have been dropped in the process of the explosion i.e. lightsaber and sonic blaster)
Gundark looked around her group. "We won't last long against those droidekas." Her gaze went upwards toward the ceiling. "There," she said, pointing to the tops of the stacks of crates. "We'll jump to the top of these crates and move from stack to stack in order to avoid the droidekas. We've got to locate Faylar. We're running out of time."
Now, that is a fair plan, but I do feel honour bound to warn people that being on top of the crates makes you highly visible and I don't even want to think about what other players might try and do to you.
Assuming you go first, Gundy...
Droids are moving into the area from many areas. From here, you cannot see yerssot or anyone else... but you CAN see the stairs out of here, nearby.

Yerss-
"You go," says Kiel. "I'll hold these ones off."
"Yes, I see it," said Xeth. He puts away his lightsaber and sonic blaster. "They can't see us as well if they don't see the glow of the lightsabers! Keep it low or turn it off!" He then removes his blaster pistol from his belt and fires a shot at one battle droid, and it's head snaps off. Xeth then leaps to the next stack of crates.
You can't see Lance, folks. The crates are stacked too high and narrowly around him.
Lance, you seem to be heading, with great speed, to the outskirts of the area. You come out in a slightly more open area, not sure of where anything leads except the alleyway behind you. It's only a flesh wound, btw.
-
Gundy and Xeth, you can get near the stairs quite easily, though the area around the stairs has no crates so you will have to jump down first. That area seems to be clear of droids so far.

"There is little time for a conversation, yerssot!" says Kiel as a droideka rounds the corner towards him. "Go!"
