USH'S GAME EPISODE II- 'REVENGE'. Light Side Area

Xeth took out the sonic blaster again and fired a few more shots to cover Lance's retreat. "Come on, come on!" he shouted.

The noise of firepower is tremendous.

Gundy and Phinney, who were less far ahead, can quickly get to safety. Xeth, you are pushing it a bit but you can get back in time.

But it is impossible to cover Lance for as long as you need; there are simply too many droids for you to present yourself as a target and not have all your attention on your sabre.

Lance, you are caught out. A droideka is firing directly on your angle just as you were fending off some battledroid shots. You have to throw yourself to the ground to avoid being blasted apart.

Another droideka rolls out between you and the others, and is unfolding now. A missed shot from a battledroid thuds into a crate near the others, which then explodes rather magnificently (causing you to have to throw yourself clear, Xeth)

An entire column of crates falls with a noise audible even over the gunshots and makes transit in that direction almost impossible.

At this point, Lance, you have an army of droids backed by a few droids in front of you and an unfolidng droideka behind and the route to your friends looking VERY tenuous indeed. There are some small side 'alleyways', caused by small gaps between the crates, at the sides that look attractive right now.

-

Yerss, you all hear the noise of that great crashing. Before you can react, in the corridor in front of you six battle droids round the corner.

almost immediatly after the droids came, Yerssot twirled his sabre on.
He looked at them and concentrated on the Force, he pushed two of them down and looked at Kiel.

"I'm deeply sorry master, but I think we need to get past through them in order to get to Argentis in time"

Kiel reaches out with a hand. One of the droids is hoisted up into the air. A shot comes his way which he casually deflects with his sabre, then with a gesture the droid is thrown sideways into his fellows, leaving one still standing.

"You're beginning to show signs of agression, master"
Yerssot smiled...
The knight jumped up using the force and kept his face forward, stomach turned down. Ready to deflect the shots if the standing droid was going to shoot, with his other hand he pushed the stunned battledroids down, to make sure they stayed down. When he landed, he landed between the stunned droids, he went down his knees and with one quick move he cut the droids in two. Quickly after that he went in a defensive stance against the remaining droid.

Kiel has spun around now because six more droids are coming from behind.

With a few swift shotblocks, the last battledroid went down.
"Master...perhaps we can retreat now? We don't have any idea how many there will come, and there is a chance that this way may lead to our objective"

Xeth throws himself to the ground and quickly makes his way to Gundy and the others, sticking low to the ground. He calls his sonic blaster back to his hand and aims for the unfolding droideka. He fires off a shot and then fires more at the battle droids. He then scampers up and calls his lightsaber back to his hand.

(the stuff I was holding would probably have been dropped in the process of the explosion i.e. lightsaber and sonic blaster)

Gundark looked around her group. "We won't last long against those droidekas." Her gaze went upwards toward the ceiling. "There," she said, pointing to the tops of the stacks of crates. "We'll jump to the top of these crates and move from stack to stack in order to avoid the droidekas. We've got to locate Faylar. We're running out of time."

Now, that is a fair plan, but I do feel honour bound to warn people that being on top of the crates makes you highly visible and I don't even want to think about what other players might try and do to you.

Assuming you go first, Gundy...

Droids are moving into the area from many areas. From here, you cannot see yerssot or anyone else... but you CAN see the stairs out of here, nearby.

-

Yerss-

"You go," says Kiel. "I'll hold these ones off."

Lance tries to come up with a plan as fast as he can in his head.

He then notices the "alleyways" created by the crates and he begins to make his way through them as fast as possible.

Making zig-zags as he goes to try and throw the droids off.

You throw yourself heavily into one of these alleyways, nothing with some discomfort the laser shot through your robes.

Droids are pursuing.

Xeth takes off after Lance, and flaps his wings a little. He flies for a few seconds until he is on top of the a crate-stack. He fires a few more shots into the crowd of droids.

Lightsabre still in hand, Gundark landed easily on a stack of crates, quickly taking in the better view of the cargo area. She spied the staircase immediately. "We can get out that way," she said, noting the battle droids swarming about everywhere below.

"Yes, I see it," said Xeth. He puts away his lightsaber and sonic blaster. "They can't see us as well if they don't see the glow of the lightsabers! Keep it low or turn it off!" He then removes his blaster pistol from his belt and fires a shot at one battle droid, and it's head snaps off. Xeth then leaps to the next stack of crates.

"Master Kiel, do you trust me, going alone?
I suggest you come with me, we can hold them off togather...3

Lance continues running.

Having given himself a little time, Lance looks to his wound.

He sees a spurt of blood come out.

Not too bad, but enough pain to slow him down.

I must make it through this., Lance thinks.

He then continues running as fast as he can.

You can't see Lance, folks. The crates are stacked too high and narrowly around him.

Lance, you seem to be heading, with great speed, to the outskirts of the area. You come out in a slightly more open area, not sure of where anything leads except the alleyway behind you. It's only a flesh wound, btw.

-

Gundy and Xeth, you can get near the stairs quite easily, though the area around the stairs has no crates so you will have to jump down first. That area seems to be clear of droids so far.

-

"There is little time for a conversation, yerssot!" says Kiel as a droideka rounds the corner towards him. "Go!"

Yerssot stands for a second staring at Kiel...he doesn't want to leave his master behind...not again...
But almost as if it was that he heared Kiel mentally saying it again, he deactivated his sabre and ran away, following the path, still being cautious about battledroids showing up

A large bank of crates you find yourself at the other side of, yerss, rather muffles the noise of fighting. It becomes quite eerie.

You think you are a little way in from the outside of the walls.
