No problem- I thought as much.
queeq, Rex, Edna and yerss- the river flows into K'rra Chi through a water intake area that would almost certainly bre fatal to swim through.
The walls look high and, without specialist gear, could be very hard to tackle.
There IS a maintenance entrance to the water intake area, though, because it has to be manned. Two guards are outside the door, which is on the left bank of the river.
"Don't worry, egt your sabre ready and be quiet."
When they get close to the maintenance entrance Quam points his finger behind the guards. They turn their heads in response to a sound they heard and move inside a few yards.
"Now!" Quam hissed. When the guards turned back thinking the sound was nothing they suddenly find two dark jedi blocking their way back in: Quam and Gald.....
... two heads roll into the river. As the flow of the river picks up, the head flow towards to water intake and disappear inside.
Anyway.
It is VERY dark in the maintenance tunnels. If you were not Force aware then navigation woulkd be impossible.
Theoetically, you should be able to emerge on the water plant at the far side- just inside the city. But there will be, at least, maintenance workers and, at most, lots of guards down here as well, so how you approach this is up to you.
As the Dark Jedi walk through the tunnel, they see that maintenance workers are everywhere, working on things unable to be seen in the dark. Gald sees that the water way is closed to the next room. And there are only about 5 maintenance workers and 3 guards, though they are heavily armed. "Should we charge em? Slice all of their heads off and drop them in the river?" Gald whispers to Quam.
"We don't throw anything." Quam hissed. He turned his attention to one of the guards and put a Force choke hold on his throat. Immediately, the guards grabs for his throat and falls to the ground. The other guards and several maintenance workers rush towards him.
"It's some kind of seizure!. Get him to the sick bay immediately!", one of the guards yelled as he began to pick him up. Within seconds there were only two maintenance workers left.
"Care for some choking too, my dear Gald?", Quam sneered at him softly.
"Why thank you, don't mind if I do!" Gald focuses on the closest guard, a "stick-figure" Verpine, and begins to choke the living daylights out of him. The Verpine falls over dead and the other maintenance worker drags him after the others. With everyone gone, Gald gets out of their hiding place behind some crates. Using the Force, he flips the lights on. Now they see that there are two "rivers" in the tunnel. Both are spread about 5 meters apart, and the rivers themselves are only 2 yards wide.
Around the maintenance bay lays many ships. A few of the ships that had almost spotted the Dark Jedi were in their, as well as upgraded landspeeders. Even a walker, though partly destroyed. Tools lay around, rusted but working. A few G2 repair droids stood around the rooms, but Gald disabled them all with his ion cannon.
He picks up a few things as he goes around. One of the maintenance workers had just finished fixing a few weapons. Gald picked up two of them. "A dart gun and kyber darts for stealth, and a rocket launcher for blowing Faylar to the depths of hell. I like," says Gald. He tosses the rest of the Dark Jedi some kyber darts and dart guns.
Quam appeared from one of the dark tunnels. He had gone after the maintance guard dragging his choked buddy. Gald had been follish enough not kill the other maintance man, with two choke victims they might have seen a pattern and that might have warned them against intruders. That was the last time Quam let someone else do such an easy job if there was a choice.
He picked up a few kyber darts. They fitted well in the contraption of his tommy blaster so he ignored the dart guns. He then sped up to keep up with Gald. "You're still too noisy", he snapped at the gunman as he flipped the lights back off, "and to noticeable. Have you no brains?"
Quam jumped in one of the speeders to check out a map of the city. Quickly he identified Faylar's residence. Glancng speedily at the extensive map of the city he stored all the info he needed to get at their destination. When he was done he jumped out. "Let's go and let's be QUIET!"
Quam ran over to the other side of the hangar and entered another tunnel leading to the main square of the city.
The dark jedi flitted down the hallways to the main square. They had been in the dark, dank tunnel for about 10 minutes, and they came out to a large town center. A large fountain was in the middle, spouting sparkling, crystal-clear water up into the air from the mouths of aiwhas. No people were visible to them around the square, though there were a few guards.
Hmm, this is a city, not a village... the middle of the place is Faylar's enormous fortress. I'll say you have got into there middle of one of the administrative areas...
...in which case you are viewing a city at war. Armed guards stand at each corner, and alert sirens can be seen all over. Bomb shelters are being constructed all over the place. The people shuffle around, unhappily.
Much of the city has been damaged in earlier fighting. Two buildings are conspcuously undamaged- the space port, where a lot of activity is taking place, and the central palace which, it has to be admitted, certainly looks imposing. And it has absolutely NO apparent entrances or exits.
Oh, two points:
1. Aren't Kyber darts incredibly rare? I doubt some maintenance worker would have one
2. Rex, you are crap at gripping. You need a finer control of the force.
Quam quickly gestured everyone back into the tunnel.
"Come on, there's an alternative." Quam ran back halfway into the tunnel, ignited a small light and stopped in front of a metal grid in the floor. With his lightsabre he made a few holes to bore out the bolts that held the grid down. He then removed it and gestured the others to climb down. When it was his turn, he got down and replaced the grid.
Once down Quam looked around in the sewer tunnels. "That way!" and he started walking.
(Guys- you are going to have to FIND the way(s) in there. They are pre-set. it;s going to take a while, because once Faylar is dead you guys are genuinely finished here, and the game isn;t THAT short compared to the last one!)
The sewer tunnels seem to be a twisty nightmare. They are also filled with security devices. Worse, you can't even be sure that they lead under the palace at all. It's designed to be independant from the city around it.
