USH'S GAME EPISODE II- 'REVENGE'. Dark Side Area

They continue to flit around the streets trying to keep themselves scarce. They finally find a dry alley with an overhang. It is rather dark, but they can see their way around the empty crates and trash desposal units every time the shield flares.

Gald looks at the flares. The shield sparks and flares each time. "Reminds me of when a family came to Hoth when I was still there. They had been lighting fireworks, but they woke me up and they were too close to my hut, so I killed them."

As they walked upt the stairs of an abandoned home somewhere down the alley, Quam silenced Gald by syaing: "Save your pitiful stories for later. You needed some sleep, so take it." Quam was totally uninterested in sad youth stories. He walked up to the only window of the first floor which had no walls. He sat down in the window sill to check on the street.

"Did I mention that I gored them?" said Gald, drifting off to sleep. He plopped down on a dusty, shredded chair. The house looked like it had been nice once, but was now old and ruined. Pictures of creatures from other planets like the aiwha and reek were on the walls. The furniture was nice, like it had been taken from a Senator's office on Coruscant. Gald fell asleep and started dreaming about killing Jedi and goring senators and wiping that tired smirk off of the new Chancellor Palpatine's face.

The sky is slowly starting to darken outside.

queeq, this gives you some time to check over the data you grabbed from the map room at Avalar.

It;s fascinating stuff, in an obscure kind of way. The Sith seem to work with a twisted and archaic logic that defies normal reasoning. With the work you have done on it all you can waork out a fair bit of info- though right now you have no idea WHAT it is you are looking at, because it's all in some dead language.

But there is one big, irritating problem. This information is useless without some sort of specially designed navigation aid. The whole map is calibrated to something you don't have. It could take years to work out a point of reference from this raw data.

There is one name in the database that you DO recognise, though, because you have seen Kuylen working on it before. Demnos. Darth Demnos, you believe... a big name from the old days...

Gald was just about to slice off Palpatine's head when he was awaken by a sudden noise. It sounded like a crash, and the shuffling of feet. "What the hell?" Gald says as he leaps from his chair and reaches for his pistol. He aims it at the door.

"Relax" Quam said, "Always thik with your guns first. It's just some Unga rats. Afraid?" Quam sneered. "Go back to sleep, unless you're done. If so we can move on. Is Edna still asleep?"

(I guess she is)

That said, queeq, your finely honed senses ARE picking up something dangerous in the near future. A feeling that has saved you many times before.

"That didn't sound like unga rats. You may be the leader, but your not always right," says Gald. He turns the turn around to face the door and keeps his gun in his lap.

"The sounds WERE unga rats. We do have new problems there but not that close....yet." Quam gets up in a flash, kicks Edna and yerss to wake up. "We're on the move" he hissed and then gestured to Gald. "I think we should go to the roof."

"You do think somethings wrong. I feel it too," says Gald. He leaps from his chair. They walk down the hallway, up a ladder, and onto the pockmarked roof.

"Be wary..." Quam said while looking around. "Move quietly..." he caught sight of a building which, for some reason, looked very familiar. "That way... I think", he said as he started heading there over the rooftops, jumping from roof to roof and landing with a near silence.

There are people moving around in the alleyways below. Furtive shadows, searching the area.

"Go go go" Quam hissed... and the Dark Jedi sped quietly across the rooftops.

Assuming that Jedi have good hearing...

"Got a trace," one of the men below syas. "They are miving above us. Look sharp!"

( since this game is almost over , Im not gonna make a big diff when i inally do get to see the other guys. Sorry I havnt been posting very much, Ive been a little busy. I guess I kind of scrued up the game pace too. )

Ricolt walks across the street to a small bar and gets a quik drink, and then heads to one of the local Inns in the town.

Ricolt is still a little dizzie from the ride and doesnt exactly feel like he knows where hes that.

" Whoooo... Im light headed, I need to get some rest."

Ricolt wals up to the Inn and opens the door. He walks up to the service counter.

"Damn, the Jedi!" Gald says to Quam using the Force. He starts for his gun hilt, but doesn't unholster it just yet.

(time for me to post again...)

Instinctivly, since he is feeling attacked, Yerssot grabbed to his lightsabre...only to realise it was not there...

Ow yeah... that's right... don't have one anymore... He thought

(Sorry, who said the game was nearly over?)

Ricolt, I'll assume you are staying at that bar for the night.

"Movement! Movement up top!" calls a man below. Gunfire stars to come your way.

These people are using hard ammo. This is FAR more difficult to deflect than laser fire as without a direct deflection you still get half a bullet in your chest.

However, it can still be dodged, and those people good enough in the Force (that's Edna, yerssot and queeq) can even try and deflect the bullet out of the way with the Foce- though you can't do anything like Keanu in the Matrix, and you can't make the people shoot themselves.

Some of the shots also appear to be from stun guns, whose wide shots are also difficult to block.

"I take we are comprimised?"

Yerssot aims a force push down below him to drive away some of the attackers.

Yerss, until I have a certain idea of the power, range, and experience required to do force attacks, I'd like them to take a back seat.
