"Let's just say I don't see myself having a good working relationship with my former friends any more," she says. "Faylar made me a wrok offer ebtter than any nonsense about ancient civilisations that Kuylen ever came up with. Besides, Faylar owns Avalar now. It might take a lot of excavation but the site CAN be recovered."
Krisha has taken a small cylinder from her utility belt (NOT a sabre!) and is playing with the controls.
"But never mind that for now. Why don't we talk about your future?"
"If I wanted to hear that sort of crap I would hang around on Coruscant," said Krisha. "Power is the ONLY reality, yerssot, and the only way to get power is to take it from someone else. But I've got no interest in fighting you just for the sake of it. And I have someone I would like you to meet. Now, do you want to carry on talking here, or would you rather I took you somewhere safe?"
"Pfft. Philosophy is for time wasters." She finished playing with the cylinder and walks over to Rura.
"This is an important message for your master," she says. "Make sure he checks it carefully." She hands him the cylinder, and he takes it.
"You'd better come with me," she says to you, yerssot, as she heads out. "I've just handed him enough explosive to destroy this whole building."
"Not long," says Krisha. "There is an underground garage I have access to." She speaks again soon afterwards.
"You know they tried to kill Verlaine again? And AGAIN a load of Jedi came out of nowhere to save him. I really thought it would be you again. I was disappointed when I found out it wasn't. But I guess the Force wanted to bring us together again, huh?"
Gald bolts awake, and sees a speeder zooming off. Yerssot is gone, with his half finished food still sitting there, yogmash bottle and all. Gald looks to Rura Ta, who seems confused. "Message for you...I think," he says, handing a little cylinder to Gald. He studies the controls, and stops dead. There's a timer on the cylinder. "It's a bomb!" Gald shouts. He whips out his green saber and cuts it in half. "Rura, what happened?"
Rura rubs his head in confusion. "Uh...Yerssot walked off with some girl. Yerssot said her name was Krisha...or something..." Hearing this, Gald rushes to the speeder garage. "Give me the cheapest car you've got!" he shouts in the owners face. The man in the green tunic shows him to a Zuviel 5P. Gald spends all of his credits on it. The black speeder looks almost like a Volkswagen beetle. "That damn Zuviel company just loves old cars, don't they?" Gald says to Rura as they both hop in.
They begin pursuing Krisha. At the same time he sends a message to Edna and Quam.
"Edna, Quam, Krisha is here in K'rra Chi! She has abducted Yerssot. Do you copy?" There is only a crackling fizzle. Gald checks the energy level on his comlink and sees that it's out of power. "Damn! We'll have to follow them ourselves Rura."
