USH'S GAME EPISODE II- 'REVENGE'. Dark Side Area

No no no no NO!

You will NOT do this chase without me telling you what happens. You do not have the right to simply say what happens with players like yerssot or major characters like Krisha. I asked if you had any tactics, NOT to just say what happens, which may I remind you is MY job.

This is becoming an increasing problem in the Dark Side thread. If it continues I will shut the DS thread down and continue this as a Light Side game because they seem willing to play properly.

The situation is this: Krisha is a better driver than Rex. Although slightly less powerful than the standard template her general skill level is still better than Rex's, who is a combat monster. Krisha also has a head start, which gives her a considerable advantage.

As things stand Krisha will simply vanish from sight and reach her destination safely. Luckily, she is not the most imaginative of people and is not trying anything fancy. Rex, if you have any ideas about how you can close the gap then please tell me.

"Where do ya think you're goin?" shouts Gald to Yerssot. He lets Rura take the controls and Gald takes out his disruptor pistol. He shoots at Krisha's speeder.

(Is that better?)

(Well, certainly something is going to have to be done about this thread; Gundy is also aggrieved with the way things are going. Stay tuned)

Krisha looks irritably behind her and starts to weave. At this range shots are going into buildings and other cars, but not the speeder!

Looks like she is going to do very little other than drive fast, yerss. You have any plans?

Gald sees a Damagran citizen fall over in fright of the shots. "Stupid pedestrian!" he yells before firing off his pulse cannon. The first shots hit, but then the same thing happens, hitting buildings and other speeders.

Krisha gives a growl as the speeder rocks slightly from the impact.

She closes her eyes...

"You mind trusting me and give me a gun?"

"I use bombs, not guns," says Krisha. "Which you will stay WELL away from..."

Krisha is driving now on instinct rather than eyesight. Suddenly she darts off the road and down a narrow alley, out of Rex's field of fire. The walls are no more than an inch away from the sides of the speeder!

"If you want to be a sitting duck, be my guest...
Do you really think I'll blow up this speeder with ME inside it?
Perhaps you trust me more with a lightsabre and with me on the outside of the speeder?"

"You are NOT touching my lightsabre!" says Krisha.

"OK... let me rephrase it... can I get ANY kind of weapon to cover the rear?"

"You can always use your body as armour plating!" yells Krisha.

"Better a bad sense of humor than no sense I take?
How long will it take us to reach the palace?
And btw, DON'T slow down, Gald might be right behind the corner!"

Yerssot made himself ready to drop a small part of his utility-belt, out of sight of Krisha

Rura turns as hard as possible. The 5P slams against the side of the wall, but the speeder keeps going. Gald keeps a steady flow of fire, then puts it into shotgun mode. His rifle fires off shots of heavy laser fire.

You are keeping your speeder steady, Rex, but she is pulling further away from you...

"Some sort of BOMBING would be great now!"

Yerssot slowly takes a small ring out of his belt and he attach it to a chord... He puts his utility belt back again

"Rura, step on it!" Gald yaps at the Kaminoan. He shoves his foot down and the car goes a spot faster, closing the gap between Krisha and him a little more. Gald then decides to take out his missiles. He cocks his rifle and puts a seeker in it. "This should slow them down." He pulls the trigger and the rocket speeds towards Krisha's speeder.

Krisha stops manoeuvring and sets her speeder straiught. The missile homes in towards its target, but shortly before hand Krisha throws her hands backwards, and a nearby speeder is diverted straight into the path of the missle! There is a large explosion and now the flaming wreckage is coming your way, Rex!

Meanwhile Krisha speeds away with the smoke masking her.

"Rura, stop!" Gald yells. But the Kaminoan pulls up, almost knocking Gald from the car. He spins over the wreckage, but has to take a detour. "This is a short cut...I think," says Rura. Gald smacks his hand against his forehead and jumps back in the car. "Let me drive!"

On one of the high buildings Quam was waiting for Krisha to shake her pursuers and land down somewhere. He had obtained a small but very fast speederbike. But for now he was calm and at peace. He had decided to separate himself from the group. The DNA tracing device had put their mission in danger. As long as he was with the group that is. But now that Krisha had returned... there was a score to settle. Two people with Jedi powers would now soon die...
