does anyone else think taht very pretty is a step down from gorgeous and that he just saying it to promote the movie/be nice? Because I can accept that he does think that she is rpetty, it just doesnt seem so. And I would have thought that he coudl have said "and shes cool too, or its not just that shes also cool" but it seems as though hes just enhancing her other qualities other than her looks. Plus he had to hesitate. and I owoudl have thought that he would have said "yes she is gorgeous, or she is extremly pretty" if he actually thought that she was pretty.
Um personality? I may not like some of the things she says on itnerviews, but she could be a totally different person. he could actually think that sehes pretty ( people have different opinions on beauty!) geez! IMO, In that magazine pic, she looks like one of those prarie women who had to survive the dust bowl, not like horrible or anything, but very tough. And she should play pumpkin for memiors of a geisha instead. (They were looking for both Japanese and Chinese English speaking actresses) If you read the book, she seems as though she totally fits the role, someone mellow, but sort of sturdy, like shell won't have peopel walking all over her, but she seems quiet. I don't want to give anything away, if you guys didnt read the book. Pumpkin isn't exactly my fav character. Plus, theres a reason why her name is pumpkin.

How do you actually know whether she's lovely or a good actor? 😕 I really don't get it when people say that, it just doesn't make sense unless you've seen the film (and if you have I apologise, but y'know...) And I personally don't agree that she looks beautiful, I guess she's alright, better in some pictures, and worse in others...
Blah, I guess I'll be the one who always argues against 😛 but it's all in good nature of course...
I've seen all the videos which have been released till now. All her appearances are quite good and look natural... 🙂 It's true that she doesn't have many good-looking pictures, but I think it's just because the... angles of the pictures?(is there such saying in English?)
By the way, *Georgina_A*, you are a British born Chinese? Do you speak Chinese? I'm surprised that Katie's parents don't speak Chinese to her at home...
So have I, but she hasn't had much screen time for the trailers and stuff has she, so we really can't tell...I don't actually think it's the angles, because the professional pictures they've chosen for you as promotionals don't really look great either, and if you think about it, they must've spent hours on that one shoot...I am British born Chinese, and I do speak Chinese but it's only because I lived in China for three years...My parents never spoke Chinese to me at home either though.
