new changed dvd footage?
after reading through the earlier post about the possible dvd changes to the ot, and in particular the alleged new changed footage of the han / greedo shooting scene from anh. i was curious about viewing this, and have now got it. so if anyone has yet to see this, let me know and i will mail it to them, its only around 1.5 mb. i'll let you make your own minds up, but it looks authentic to me.
Theforce.net said in post that they can confirm the following:
this post is just to let you know that people out there have now seen Star Wars on DVD, they've witnessed some of the changes themselves and we'll all know soon enough all of the intricate details of the release. So far we believe we can confirm Hayden being added to ROJ and Ian McDiarmid as the Emperor in the Trilogy. Naboo is also included in the ending celebrations and there's another pass on Jabba in ANH.

ummm, why would this be a re-edited clip for the OT DVD's. Whats to say it isnt just a clip from the ORIGINAL 1977 version?
Star Wars DVD news
What do you think of Lucas changing Boba Fett's voice in the Trilogy DVD release to match Jango Fett's/clones in Episodes 2 & 3?? Weren't the special editions enough? Along with other rumored changes for the prequel re-release, why does he keep butchering these films? His definitive vision is crap especially when he changes it every few years. The old man should just leave them alone or do things right the first time! errrr
