Man that call was bs when they called back that goal. Even if there was no one there to get in the goalie's way....Cambell still would have made that shot because the goal keeper couldn't have reached it.
That being said...it was probably put best by the Sportscenter anchor "Beckham missed that PK by 5 Spice Girls"

"If I knew football rules I would not say this tramp"
"If it happened with David James, these kind of english fans would say the goal was very well disallowed"

oh i don't want to make it seem like i care about that match regardless of who won, i just hate seeing goals taken away...even in hockey.
I'm American...for all i care, Los Angeles Galaxy could be in the semi finals and I wouldn't care...

i really dont like him but he does good in penalties. I also dont like Helder Postiga and I think Figo shouldnt have been pulled out when he was cos that last kick was tricky and I bet in the corner he would have passed the ball short to be passed to him again and kick to try and score from there. Which he has done quite a few times before. but he 4th ref already had the request and Postiga ended up scoring the equalizer. with Rui Costa, another oldy scoring what could have given us the victory without so much suffering if it wasnt for the defense.

I have to be honest, I haven't looked at the keeper much as to how he moved or when he tried to jump, so I can't comment on it, and we'll never know if he would have got it or not cause of that faul
Terry didnt touch the keeper tho, the Keeper touched Terry..... watch the replay again and tell me im lying.
Campbell was already in the air when the keeper started to jump, he had no chance of stopping it...even if he hadnt JUMPED INTO Terry
i give up, its obvious you cant accept what really happened, spose i wouldnt either if it happened the other way round...so ill just give up
EDIT: when it happened, the referee was in no position to make that call, he was miles away.....the linesman had a near perfect view and gave the goal... the referee overruled his decision
Well you cant really tell what the ref saw.
The keeper cant be touched even if he runs into sameone.
Terry had is arm out and over the keeper.
And Portugal had a goal that wasnt allowed either. they dont even show a decent reply.
The English news papers are the only ones in Europe, that I've seen so far, that say it was a valid goal.
