Plus a possible explanation for big teams : the big championships are too trying and now most players are exhausted...

That applies to our players too. But they are running a lot. Just to remember Maniche, Deco and Ricardo Carvalho who did all the National Legaue, the the Cup and the Champions League.

I hope Santini leaves and some older players too. France needs a new coach and to rebuilt a new team. Only Zizou shall stay in Germany 2006. Even with 34/35.

Portugal- Neederlands in semi finals. It will be harder than Sweden. Ned. is playing better last games.

That plane ticket to Advocaat was bought too soon.

he would never have been allowed into Belgium anyway

Sweden is going home... I've enjoyed to see them in this Euro, they've played very well. 🙂

The game was good, but booth teams where playing a little slowly, there where some "dead" moments really boring.

according to the commentator here, it was too hot and of course both were tired from the group stages

I don't agree with that... in the beginning they almost dindt attack much... when the game was getting to the end holland started to play faster and forced sweden to defense more and speed up the game, but that's just my opinion. 😛

that's cause holland fears the penalties 😉

So they were not so tired as the commentator said 😛

I was expecting to see a faster game too.

Yeah, the commentator said it, but they where lucky this time... penalties are just pure luck...

I just don't know whit did the coach of Holland kept to guys that are really great to attack in the bank (?), I dont know how to write their names sorry...

you mean Kluivert and Van Hooijdonck?

Yes, thanks...I really cant write there names.. hahahahaha

That apllies to everyone. But the better the championship is, the more trying it is for the players. Take the Italian championship for instance. Despite Kes' criticism, it is probably the most difficult championship on the world (I mean physically/ to play in, not in a matter of level). That's why the Italian players play so...badly. Zidane's been totally shattered for two months now (the Real plays with 13 players that never change....) No offence but the portuguese championship is a bit less trying, like the French one (Pauleta, Petr Cech, are good examples). But it's true that Deco is also exhausted (b/c of the CL mostly IMHO, not of the championship, the League Cup, the Cup,...)

hey, if that's true, Belgium if they could have qualified, would have totally rocked 😎

i saw holland winning 😄

we did... you think Mpenza (Emile) is THAT good? or that Sonck can get over his ego from time to time to play actually well?
or that Kompany is such a good player that he will totally rock our world? Not to mention that Anthony chap that costs us our draw against... who was it again? 3-2! ha!

nono, let Kompany play for a few years and THEN see if he's good enough, let Simons organise the defence like he does in Brugge
let's try to find a decent striker, cause up to this point Buffel hasn't convinced me either... in other words, when it comes to soccer... I don't think it's a good team 😉

but I guess we have to keep subject

at least we try to make a team with young players. When we had wilmots, verheyen, no one said anything.

They are young. Let them play and develop themselves and then we'll see. It's plenty of time before WK 2006. We'll see in 2 years...

I don't like Sonck either... but so what, as long as he scores, like he does in Ajax, I'm happy.

And Timmy does a great job with us. FCB olé olééééééééé 😉

that's cause they were actually good players, what have Kompany and Vanden Borre ever done after failing big time a few times? (when they play ok-ish they are hailed as "the future superb players", if they suck they write "they're so young"😉 bleurgh!
and if belgium doesn't qualify for the WC2006, it says more than enough about the quality... what are the adversaries? the only "worthy" one is Spain!
actually, a friend I have says he didn't play much in Ajax the last months cause of an injury and a fight with the coach

yes, I noticed your homepage 😉
