Really,Interview was popular,but I always suspected because the movie-fied damned....

Interview with the Vampire was and is way better than Queen of the Damned. At the time, movies weren't that hyped up, for some that is. I guess around then, vampire movies weren't really popular until some odd years later in the 90's. The movie industry hype up the movie to get prophets and attention. Also, add bits of their reviews in the trailer to make it appear good. That doesn't always mean that the movie is good. I recommend that you all go see Interview with the Vampire.

is it that the movie IWAV is way better then the movie QofD, or that the book of IWAV is better then the book QofD?

i haven't read queen of the damned novel, so i couldn't compare it to the first volume of the vampire chronicles. as for the movies, yes interview was way better than queen!
