that still doesn't answer my question. what is that series about?

ahhhh...ok, well, its about this kid named Darren who goes to a freak show with a friend, and then later, that same friend gets this deadly poisin in him from a spider Darren stole from one of the freaks, who is a real vampire. so now, the only way to save his friend is for Darren to become a vampire servent to the vampire. now, im at book 3, and it goes through Darrens life with the vampire. its a good book, which i have now tottaly screwed up by my crappy summery >.<
