The red dot seems to be part of the new universe, I'm not sure exactly what is but, it seems to be the point where all the star are from.

There's no way 3 planets would be destroyed, from the destruction of ideon. Ideons gun has destroyed clusters of planets before, so releasing all of it's energy (Which is infinite) would have destroyed the universe, the scene just played out decievingly.

Also, it's been said many times thet the univerese was remade by the collective souls of the dead. If that was the old universe, that feat wouldn't of happened.

But, I've been wrong before.

If the characters said it then it most likely happened. I don’t know Japanese so I had no idea what the characters were talking about.

Ideon is a GOD, nowhere does it state a GOD must be an organism,spirit or whatever cliche ideas people have.

Yeah, he's A god, but not god w/cap G. Traditionally, when we hear the word "god" we automatically think of somebody omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent. (Lord of Nightmares, Chousin Goddesses, The Almighty, Adam Kadoman, etc etc)

That's why Gokus feat of overpowering the "gods" in DBZ is hardly an impressive feat, because well, the gods in the series are complete pansies. IMO, the gods in DBZ are more eastern in culture, what w/many, many types of gods, VS western, where there is one, all-powerful being.

The Gods in DBZ are basically polytheistic vs Patriarchal Monotheistic God of the western world.

Polytheistic gods are not automatically wimps. Thor, Zeus, Odin, Ares, Krishna.

Actually I was refering to how Goku defeated an entity that managed to decontructed the universe merely by existing.

Alright Norse gods weren't a perfect example but Krishna could destroy the universe by opening his third eye and nothing more. "I am become death the destroyer of worlds" and all that whatnot

No it wasn't Majin buu it was in one of the movies. It looked like buu but was yellow and destroyed the space time continum

Nevertheless I would like to know the flaws in my other examples.

I believe this origin of this came from the question of Goku's power and frankly I cannot imagine why I've been defending him. But I feel compeled to continue. Isn't destroying the laws of nature somewhat akin the universe busting?

No, I'm talking about when super buu got angry when he was fighitng super vegetto.

I don't remember anything like that happening in the Manga, in fact I got the whole fight between Super Vegetto and Super Buu before Vegetto is turned into candy and nothing like Buu ripping the fabric of reality ever happens in the manga.
