Discos - 😖hifty: you only wish you were one of me
who's shadowy exa? SB or X?
sexy av though...
i relate to Boromir alot. I would have wanted to use the ring. I've also, once had to fight off 20 guys in a life and death situation, and a couple friends made a coment about it when we saw FOTR for the first time.
There's a lot of Feanor in there aswell, a bit of turin... most of the agressive guys i guess... and twist of Gaurung just for flavour.
Lol,
Hopefully Il be Exa again in a few days 😄
my two weeks will be over soon 😊
What characters remind me of myself?
I don't know why, but somehow Nellas does 🙂
Not much of her personal character is known as she's a rather marginal figure, but she doesn't like big groups of people and is sometimes a little silent or shy though when she's together with her friends she's a very cheerful person.
Somebody who always makes me laugh because some facets of his personality sound so much like me but then again he's totally different is Rúmil of Aman/Eressea (not the Lórien-one), at least as he's portrayed in the Lost Tales. He absolutely loves lore, languages and writing systems (as he also "invented"/collected the first one ever used in Arda, the "Sarati" aka "Rúmil's Tengwar"😉 and one of his greatest wishes would be to understand all languages (it's so cute when he finds this blackbird in his garden whose songs he can't understand - "may Tevildo, Lord of the Cats, rob his nest!! 😠 Child of Melko!" 😂 ) though he often seems to annoy the people around him with his "idle talk" (and he is aware of that fact...); there's so much he'd want to tell, yet he only rarely finds somebody listening to him long enough (I'm glad that you people here make this last point untrue for me ^^)
Like Túrin Turambar I'm very, very pessimistic 😄 "But if you are he, then I fear that all has gone awry." Then Túrin laughed bitterly. "Awry, Awry?", he cried. "Yes, ever awry, as crooked as Morgoth!"; I also like childish questions where it's pointless to try to answer them ("What is Fate?"); oh, and one of the quotes of Túrin is one of my favourite sentences: "I do not know" 😄 I also often have doubts about things I think are unfair/injust though usually only few or nobody agree[s] with me (response of Túrin's Gaurwaith-"friends": "Fool! You call yourself an outlaw. Outlaws know no law but their needs. Look to your own, Neithan, and leave us to mind ours")
There's also Queen Berúthiel who loves cats... but her character is very different from my own 🙁 sad story...
🙂
Does anyone have the Lost Tales 1 somewhere near and too much time on his hands?
I only have the German edition so far and there are some quotes I'd like to know in English... by Rúmil... and I don't know exactly what they sound like because the translation is often kinda strange
One is something like "But I am annoying you, my Lord, with my idle talk of songs and words", about two pages before the end of the second chapter (one line beneath the italic words tirípti lirilla)
Some lines above there is also a quote about the languages of Men and about Melko - but I have no idea what it might sound like 😬

Exactly my opinion ✅
If it's already the worst of all cases - tomorrow will still be worse 😄
Though Túrin is sometimes unbelievably neutral/foolishly optimistic about his situation or just doesn't care though it's clear that everything is hopeless, lost to fatality
He often just smiles and continues his way down to ruin 😛 ✅ fascinating ^^
